Like most of the things, school has good and bad aspects. I like it because I can see my friends and learn some useful things. On the other hand, I think there is too much homework and we learn some things that we would probably never use in our lives.
By the way, I there was a thread like this a long time ago.
Can be pretty stressful at times, lol... Anyway, favorite subject = science. Least favorite subject = English. Favorite language class = Latin.
On a side note, life update: I've been homeschooled since before first grade, and I'm in junior year of highschool. I might be going to a public highschool next year. O.o

I don't know if it would be cool to have classes at home but I would like to try it. Maybe it would be less stressful.
One thing that I hate is that the people chat all the time during all the classes nonstop. That is annoying and it is disrespectful with the teachers. Some of my teachers get mad with this and once my math teacher put 11 people out of his class.
Math is definitely my least favorite subject, I just can stand that bunch of numbers and homework. I hate complicated things. I prefer something simpler, like foreign languages.
Highschool was interesting but very slow and boring. I couldn't even take more classes that interested me so I had to finish come advanced credit over 3 summers. The classes I like the most are: Biology, Physics and Psychology the ones I hated were P.E. (waste of time in my opinion, I exercise regularly) and first year mandatory courses like Tech ED and Social Studies 8,9,10. University is much more free and a lot of interesting. North American Public schools need a lot of work especially American ones. Also homeschooling should be done for valid reason (trying to not expose your children to religion is not a valid reason or keeping the close to you at all times) and should be done by professionals. Not parents who think they know enough to teach them.
I like school. I used to go to a school whose policy was "Parents keep kids too busy, so we don't assign homework". It was dumb. Then I switched to my current school, which is much better. My favorite subject is Math, Science or English. And when did foreign languages become simple?

Same here, I can't concentrate. One of my teachers almost gave like 5 people detention.
Yeah, Pedro somewhat shocked me back there. Doesn't Spanish have almost 15 declensions? I will say though, Latin isn't too hard once you get used to the five cases.
I have been taking it for a few years. I'm still trying to get my vocabulary up. I think I know just over 500 words. (There is no way I can think of them off the top of my head, lol.) Forget what people say about it being dead. Freemasons, the Papacy and people in the medical field all use Latin. It is actually kind of fun.
They are just easy to me. My first language is Portuguese and the Portuguese classes are pretty easy. Spanish is easy to me because it is a close language to Portuguese. English in my school is cheap so I make classes out the school and I don't have difficulties on it. This year I want to learn one more language, I am in between German, French and Italian.

It is dead. People can use Latin but that doesn't mean is a full spoken language that is evolving which is the very definition of a language. A lot of Latin is lost and no one speaks and changes it to suit modern times.
