If there are too many locked threads, then maybe some people should look at the sticky threads in either the S&S, Newcomer's, or AG3 forums. Or all three. If anything, it keeps you informed! \\o/
Sticky threads are made by moderators/admins. They are there to keep important info, memos, and notices. As such, they can never be moved down the list or on older pages, because they are so important! The reason why they are always first in the list, have pins next to them, and have bold font, is because they are begging everyone to read them. They desire attention! They want to feel loved, recognized, and important! Sadly, their wishes fall on deaf ears most of the time.
If a thread has been answered, then there are no more need for posts. We lock the threads, as, unfortunately, some users don't understand this and continue to answer answered threads.
