Well, this is my first shot at a forum RPG. So here goes, the "C.RE.A.TE." RPG!
Story
The year is 2011 (not precisely, it is possible for you to stumble upon a gadget supposed to have been invented in the near future). You wake up in clothes similar to those provided by hospitals, in what appears to be a laboratory, only to be promptly greeted by an old man, whose hair would resemble that of a mad scientist. He asks "How are you feeling?" in what sounds as a concerned voice. You initially stand there, trying to figure out where you are, why you are there, how you got there⦠all that you remember, however, is the year this is and your name, and those you do hardly. What do you do? This RPG will be based on the current state of the world, more or less. I originally planned for this to have several elements of fantasy, yet this wonât respond to reality 100% either (perhaps a shot to the chest might not be lethal, for example, or you may carry more items than you normally would have been able to). Although players will begin at about the same time and place, they will most probably not interact until later on.

*The "E" next to items will stand for "Equipped". If itâs not there, the item is either not or cannot be equipped.
Stats 10 points are to be distributed to the seven stats. A stat can have no more than 10 points. Maxing out stats from the beginning is greatly discouraged, since there will be items that can increase them.
Strength increases damage dealt with all weapons, and without weapons. Perception defines how well you understand your surroundings as well as general matters, such as lies. Endurance defines your hit points. Charisma defines others' disposition towards you. Intelligence can not only prove to be helpful when trying to figure out a solution, regarding virtually any matter, but help you with electronics, too. Agility defines your flexibility and speed, both in and outside combat. Luck defines, for example, whether, while walking on a street, you happen to get robbed, find money on the ground, or have nothing happen to you.
Skills Two skills out of the seven are to be chosen to have an increase of 10 points. On level up, you earn 8 points to distribute. The cap of all stats is 75.
"Ranged Weapons" defines damage dealt with, well, ranged weapons. "Melee Weapons/ Unarmed" defines damage dealt with melee weapons or with bare hands. "Lockpick" defines your ability to pick locks (âmilestonesâ at 25, 40, 55 and 75). "Medicine" increases the amount of health you regain with practically all healing items, and improves your understanding of human anatomy. "Repair" defines your ability to repair just about anything. "Stealth" defines your ability to remain unseen. "Speech" defines your ability to convince others.
Iâm terribly sorry for borrowing a stat and skill system from a rather famous RPG, by the way, but I came up with nothing else.
The experience system will work with you earning XP points every time you complete objectives, or partly do so. You will also earn XP points for obtaining specific information, killing - sometimes - and for experiencing certain scenes.

As soon as you try to approach them, you start losing control of your motions. You can do nothing, it's as if someone or something tells your body what to do. You then start walking towards the right, and take the first turn right. Immediately, you regain control of your senses, and right afterwards have another memory come back to you: a large, sharpened knife on a coffee table, with blood on its handle and blade. What do you do now? +5 XP!

As you turn back to the previous location of those two, you see they have vanished into thin air! Then, by looking at the sun now rising, you can tell you are at the west end of the village. It is a dead end, however, since it's got a brick wall, too high for you to pass. You still wonder about where you are. What do you do?

After asking around, you were told that the place you're in has no name, but used to be called "Well", while nobody seemed to know who you were or how you got there. There was one man who needed you to move some boxes for him, and said he'd pay you for it. +10 XP!

You find a hot dog stall, actually, and buy a hot dog (-$2). As you take a bite in it, you suddenly remember more from the previous scene. You can distinctly recall committing murder, by stabbing someone twice in the chest. You cannot remember why, how, or where, but you are sure that you are a murderer. Actually, you remember seeing two dead bodies, although not having interacted with one of them. For some reason, you also remember parts of your childhood; more specificly, living in an orphanage. After eating, you go to the nearest motel. They ask you to "remove" a couple of people staying there, in any way, because of their inability to pay for their rooms. +9 XP!
