I started a thread that I'm pretty annoyed how it turned out because It's the exact thing i didn't want to happen and even thought it's not breaking any rules i just don't want it to continue. Is it possible for a moderator to lock it for me?

Yes. However, next time it is better to do so on the moderator's profile, until we get a better system. And please, just on one or two mods' profile, otherwise it feels like spam. Generally, a thread will be locked if the OP, the one who made it, requests it. However, I do believe a mod would make exceptions, if the thread is making good discussion, and the only reason for locking it is because the OP is getting told they are wrong.
