A much less advertised, a much more unique First Person Shooter in my opinion (then again the advertisement is all over the internet >.>, its an awesome game. The campaign itself is bloody outstanding, especially with SPOILERS.
Prophet.
The only few problems I have are related to multiplayer or rather a lack of. I can't get into a Multiplayer game, if I try to join a server it inexplicibly tells me "I cannot connect to host" and sometimes it would say "Serial Key already in use" which... wtf? Also, why the fudge do I need to keep adding my serial key just to access multiplayer? I don't wanna keep it next to me day and night >.>
Anyway. Great gameplay and some bad technical issues. Discuss!
I don't see what's so appealing about this campaign. The only thing that really pulled my heart strings were all of those dying people. At one point I saw to infected guys sitting on a bench, and one of them was going into a bit of a seizure. The other guy still had a bit of sense in him and patted him on the back in an attempt to comfort him. To me, all of these poor infected people were...well it was horrible. But the actual story itself is pretty bland. I mean you're just a random marine that got some guy's suit. I have not beaten the game yet but this is how far I am SPOILER!!1:
I'm at the level right after when you miss the chopper that is supposed to pick you up from Hargreave or who ever sent it, but then the flood comes and you basically add another injury to the list that the suit is keeping you from dying from. So basically the level with the marines.
I was such a big fan of Crysis1 and was so happy that I had the capacity to play the game on my PC on full-quality sliders! Perhaps the second's story is not as great, but I have yet to make that verdict, since, well....I haven't bought the game yet, ehehe....However! Do you want a genuine goof-up of a shooter's story line? Go look at Quake 4. Sure, the game was great! It excelled at many spectra of criticism, EXCEPT the storyline. It makes previously-skeptical-about games so much better if you compare them to other games in the questionable area.
I don't need to go on about the graphical qualities of Crysis, since I 1) know it is at top-tier, and 2) don't care about graphical qualities of games for review. The gameplay, however, was phenomenal! Crysis is a physics-based superpower shooter and does well with that. I love turning into The Hulk and throwing tanks at Korean soldiers that just finished soiling their pants, turning into Mystique to pray on unsuspecting enemies, or even just going inside a room, guns blazing, and having my armor tighten to repel bullets. What is so frightening about this game is that it applies theoretical and soon-to-be reality science!
if you want a heat pull thing watch the wall trailer man that was sad (you can download it if you have a ps3 from the media section i downloaded all of them cept for the psomething one it was just stupid)
Also yeah, pretty bland for now but, and this is a spoiler since I forgot where you learn this in the storyline:
1) You discover that the you're essentially a dead man walking, more than 5 broken ribs, both lungs punctured, etc, all of that is going to hell but the Nanosuit is growing into the wounds and sustaining you. 2) That Hargreave's being as old as he is is probably insane as he knew the Ceph were coming many years ago (not 3, more than 50 I think). How he demonstrates his doubt that you can save the planet is pretty amazing as he gives a speech to your former-C.E.L.L enemies telling them to assist you in any means possible.
I guess the real story element is what you see, not what happens.
You know in the trailer with the Skyscraper falling? What if I tell you you was 5 seconds away (literally) from saving 2 people before it crushed them? That hurts.
Anyway. Multiplayer I fixed, it's pretty amazing and I'm just a bit upset they have levels to unlock weapons. It hinders me a lot and what I like (and now hate because of not being able to have them) and hate about Crysis 2 weapons is that they are all sufficiently different, even the same class-weaponry.
it applies theoretical and soon-to-be reality science!
I don't think we have enough time. 12 Years to build a Bio-Mechanical Nanosuit that is capable of sustaining an otherwise dead man walking, has the ability to grow into these wounds, can absorb alien tissue, find the cellular counter to its infection, as well as enhancing strength and speed to the wearer, spearheading organic points for Armor, and allowing Micro-Crystals to envelop the suit for effective invisibility?

Yeah I got past that, when I heard the doctor guy say it, I wasn't that surprised considering all of those falls Alcatraz takes....again and again. So the suit is stuck to him. That's actually pretty cool, having a second skin, and such.

Indeed, it's sad Prophet died at the start though.
By the way I should of added a spoiler disclaimer for all posts in Crysis 2, so no blame can be put in.
But once you've done the entire campaign, d_dude, talk to me again and we'll be happeh
so crysis 2 multi's out. nano vision engaged quite possibly one of the cheapest and most aggravating feature of nano vision is that it give you wall hacks like a boss. this thread is pretty much all
Not really, it just lets you see heat signatures. The downside is that it drains energy which makes escape / armor mode harder to use, making it mostly useful for snipers or finding someone in stealth.

1. That's ur job as a sniper 2. I think that's a lie, invisibility cannot be seen that far away, even whilst scoped I believe. 3. What's your point anyway?
Finally got it, along with MW2, Halo Reach, Black Ops, etc, etc. Hope it rocks!
Congrats. Personally I think the CoD's aren't worth the money as they're too generic, Halo Reach introduced some new things which I like and I don't know what etc etc means.
