I decided I'd try and post some of my poems on here, since I liked the first line poem thread so much. I would really like some advice on how to improve. Thanks!

They work.

I love the pencil sketches, and am somewhat flabbergasted as to how you guys managed to draw that well on freaking Xat. Also somewhat jealous.

It took a while, I admit... XD

Evidently people don't care for black and white sketches anymore... :P

I really enjoyed looking at the last drawing, you did a really good job at shading her clothes.

The Xat ones look really well. The colour choices work well, though you should start experimenting with shading colours for a more life like and interesting shading.
And your anatomy abilities have become a lot better since last I saw.

As for the sketches, they are really nice. Might think about smudging the shading a bit, or use hatching, cross hatching and other shading techniques to make it more interesting to look at.

Thank you, I will work on the textures and shading.

I just felt like sharing that you are coming back (as it says on your profile) on my birthday. A marvelous present that is.

I'd like to thank whoever decided to click my views up to 50,000 and also note that this is the longest I've ever gone without posting.

Here are some sketches.

I tried to draw more realistically.

I'd also like to note that I'm writing a new short story, but I won't have it up until it's done.

I like the flower, my mom doodles things like that all the time when she's on the phone.

The realistic one doesn't compare to some of the other stuff you've drawn, the most off putting portion is that she seems to be a tad- lopsided. The shoulders and her sweater? look almost perfectly symmetrical though, strange how that turned out.

this was literally me when I saw the drawing of the girl's face. That is really amazing detail. The eyes look so real. And some parts are a bit exaggerated, but that's fine. There are parts that I thought could have more detail. Like the ear. But I still liked it anyways.

I suppose I'll have to work on realistically drawing people then! Symmetry has always been the hardest part for me.... T.T
Maybe there's something wrong with my brain. XD

Ah yes, that must be the problem your brain is asymmetrical, we can fix that if you like, although I'll have to ask you to sign a a few waivers in triplicate.

Also, RAGE HER EYES ARE GRAY WHEN EYES ARE OBVIOUSLY ALWAYS MAGENTA! HOW DARE YOU!?

Please, if they were Da Vinci like they would obviously have some capability of function in the real world or multiples of each limb, depending on the drawing, perhaps even both. How dare you attempt to pull the wool over my eyes!? RAAAAAGE!
