I've been asked a lot what music I like a lot so I'll give an example. I don't like heavy metal and I don't like pop that much so hear is what I do like.

The Arctic Monkeys. Rock band, but not heavy metal. It is simply rock.

Here are some songs I like

Cornerstone
Crying Lightning
Fake Tales from San Francisco
I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor
Riot Van
Mardy Bum
Dangerous Animals
Cigarette Smoker
Fluorescent Adolescent

Those are the songs I like.

Not even in the same category. I like Soundgarden, but they're grunge and Arctic Monkeys are alternative.

I scheduled tickets to D.C. in May 17th, the day before my birthday. I live in Maryland so to D.C. it is like an hour drive away.

Are they promoting a new album or just touring?

Great band, probably my favorite Indie Rock. I honestly love their songs 505 and Brainstorm.

Ok then, if you want to compare indie rock to indie rock, The Shins are better.

APPLES ARE NOW VS STRAWBERRIES.......OR GREEN APPLES (CLASS OF THEIR OWN MAN...)

I've never been a fan of Arctic Monkeys. Considering how much people fap them, I guess I don't "get" them, but meh. LCD is great, though. Never been a fan of the Shins either.

The Arctics are brilliant and so are The Shins. LCD Soundsystem, lol.
