I have noticed that our community is no around 40,000 people smaller. Looks like it's spring cleaning on AG. Ghost and one-time accounts are being deleted. I expect more of this to be happening in the following days. Well done mods, well done.

I have no idea what you are talking about. We can't delete anyone.

I am very confident that we were in the area of 990,000 yesterday or two days ago. So something must be going on.

I don't know or want to know what you may be taking, but you are wrong with that.

I was here yesterday and the number wasn't around there.

Are you people suggesting that I am insane? Because I had never seen 945,030 on my profile. And I check daily.

Honestly, WHY? Going through and deleting the ghosts both accomplishes nothing beneficial and wastes time that could be used towards other more useful endeavours. Deleting the user base just weakens AG's standings compared to other Flash game sites.

Well, there's nothing good about an account that does nothing, is there?

You don't know if the person plays Flash Games on that account. So if you delete an account then a person logs on to see it's deleted then they'll get angry.

Well, that's an account that does something.

I guess you can't really tell the difference between the ghosts and the accounts that only play Flash Games.

Yeah. That is why they couldn't be deleting ghost accounts. But if you only play games on the site, there wouldn't be a difference between having an account and not having one at all.

It's an honorable but stupid thing to do to delete all the ghost accounts in the Flash game site world. Plus, registered you can rate the game and comment on what you think they could do to improve it.... But more importantly xP, Don't have to deal with as many ads.

I did not know that, I was about to suggest to delete the users who are inactive in te top 100. Because most of them quit.

Deleting people will be the most moronic thing to do. Also, you don't know if that person will ever change their mind about quitting. Many always do, deleting them will achieve nothing. They contributed to the site in some way and they'll probably use their account again someday.

Example: Tennisman, I haven't seen him since I started being active around the site, but he posted in the Popular Media section a week or two ago.

That's such a waste of progress V6Y, those guys worked hard for their achievements, whether those achievements were hard-earned or easy-picked. And on the area of "deleting", mods temp-ban and admins perma-ban. There is no "deletion", since the record of the user is forever in the system.

Because most of them quit. It sucks because they were so high up and then they go on talking on there profiles about how ag is for people with no life.

If you want to beat them, then you must beat them with your own two hands. Eliminating the competition eliminates the rigidness of the AP highscores. Which shouldn't be a big deal anyway. Come to think of it, I should put this tiny paragraph into my Dwarven vow collection.
