Haven't you noticed that threads are continuing to reappear, but not as the same thing, but by different people? Is the AG community running out of ideas, or is it just me?
With 453 different pages of topics just in The Tavern, with 20 topics per page, that's 9060 different topics. Obviously, people are running out of ideas on what to talk about, so if a topic is vaguely similar, is there really much harm unless it's the exact same..
Yeah, that is why it is so hard for the moderators to do their job of deleting duplicate threads. One time I got mine deleted because it was about Exit Path.
Well what are you complaining about? What the mod did was right. Instead of just making a whole new thread about it, you can post in a more active one that someone already made. It keeps the forum more neat.
Ever since the primordial days of Armor Games, the old repeat trick has been harnessed by evil-doers to wreak havoc on the lives of pedantic regulars. I don't fuss too much, 'cept for the constant reminders.
I think if you actually check through some of the pages you will find that a lot of the topics are spam. Half of the pages can be full of Locked Threads and spam.
For good reason, I've gotten some good laughs out of just going through all the locked threads at the end xD
the treads are repeated over and over because when people make a thread, they often times don't check previous pages, and when someone posts on a thread with the same topic 1 or 2 pages back, you suddenly have a duplicate.
