in a community to build originality etc i think there should be an upvote or down vote button since like armor points we could have some sort of gauge system and this would indefinitely cut down on spam etc because people will be hungering to post good well thought out comments in hopes of getting their "comment score" up in the forum or something
of course arguably this could be a terrible idea since undoubtedly people will be begging others to upvote their content and get more score (almost sort of like rep?) however if an entire community is in on this then people could be denounced by having their rep lowered etc.
i think it might actually build people to generate great comments regarding topics and it gives them a sort of gauge of how the community thinks of that person etc.though again AG is sort of like a popularity contest and it might possibly be someone who is the top 10 getting over 9000 votes on something trivial and dumb as "hey look this is me touching a panda lol [pic]" but this feature should be considered nonetheless along with hiding certain user's comments if they fall below a certain negative threshold
