I could swear I posted here, commenting on how dumb picking over "a best animal" would be in my opinion.

Oh, of course I'm going to say humans are the best animals. I defintely agree with 1337Players. It's only a matter of decades before we become superhuman cyborgs. Then any poor lad will be able to kill a wolf with his bare han.. I mean his amazing strength.

How big is a little eagle? I've never heard of it.

Land: Lion
Sea: Shark
Air: Bald Eagle

It's a regular eagle, it's just little next to the other.

Land: Giant lemur (extinct)
Sea: Megalodon (extinct)
Air: Pterodactyl (extinct)

What happened to all these great animals?

D**mn that's a big bird! At least for a bird of flight.

Land: Ants
Sea: Ants on logs
Air: Ants with plastic wings

Actually, certain antts can fly if that changes anything.

Now, best mammal. In addition to the others.

Land - Chocolate Labs

Sea - Salmon

Air - Eagles

Best mammal would have to be the honey badger; he isn't so big but is ferocious and can fight off animals several times bigger than him; he has a thick skin that protects him against all sort of stings, claws and bites, he is immune to some very potent venoms and thus can eat certain snakes.

They are pretty amazing animals. They will also attempt to hunt hyena individuals and sometimes big cats.

Land- Honey Badgers or bears.... they're both ferocious
Sea- Squids... squids are just amazing.. they eat other squids... they have a difficult life
Air- the Bald Eagle...it looks powerful... and it is powerful
