What the heck is a Toonami? Is it a kind of CarTOON? Or is it some weird translation of tsunami? I leaning more to the translation thing(lol) because ive never hear of a cartoon named Toonami.

It was on Cartoon Network? I thought it was part of Canada's YTV. Anyways, it was basically all anime.

I remember it. I never got to stay up much to watch it though, and by the time I was old enough for my parents to let me it was only on for a year or so. It had shows like Naruto, Inuyasha, Dragonball Z, etc.

Inuyasha

For me, that was the only thing worth while to watch. I used to freaking love Inuyasha. Wasn't there also some kind of show about mechs? It was pretty lame.

I was watching Toonami before Tom showed up.

Mechs? You mean mechas, aka the Gundam series? Yeah, more than half the series was on Toonami when it was in full swing. They were such great anime to watch. G-Gundam was more influenced in my Toonami Days then Mobile Suit and Wing Gundam though. And if that's what you meant by &quotretty lame", then I will hunt you.

No, I will seriously hunt you.

toonami = my childhood.... DBZ, Gundam, Zoids, Reboot, Yu Yu Hakusho, Outlaw Star, Ruroni Kenshin, Thunder Cats (kinda but not really that last one)...and more... those were the life blood of CN... CN recently went onto life support w/ Chowder, Flapjack, the late night stuff and a few other semi humorous shows that kept its heart beating... now its dead. (I mean wth is up w/ CARTOONNetwork showing live action crap?)... I'm kinda glad my school's cable provider moved it to a set of channels that requires some sort of digital box (which I don't have)... now its dead and buried... and I'm left w/ a huge gaping hole in my soul... I'll forever miss you toonami

Exactly, Toonami was my childhood. We all know Cartoon Network isn't worth its weight in anything anymore. Shows like Total Drama Island and that CGI Garfield abomination make me vomit. I remember waiting to watch Dragon Ball and DBZ every Saturday. There were some Gundam series weren't there? Or maybe Big O? What I remember the most was DBZ though.

And about Cartoon Network...

Tetraphobia

In Japan, many apartment houses and parking lots skip 4. Many hotels skip the 13th floor, similar to some western hotels. 9 is also skipped in some contexts, especially hospitals, due to the sound "ku" being associated with the word "kurushimu", to suffer. 49 is considered to be an especially unlucky number as it is evocative of the phrase "shinu made kurushimu", "to suffer until death". -Wikipedia
