This isn't a new feature or a way to keep spammers out of here, but a slight thread change.
I have noticed a lot of stickies have been made in different sections, like the AG v3 forum. There are like ten stickies all about "Ideas and Discussions About:". Why not just have on sticky that has links to all those threads instead?
Or, WEPR? An "Introduction To:" could be just one sticky.
Less sticky up top makes it look a bit neater, and more user-made forums are more at the top, thus suggesting to new users, that AG is a player focused website.

I think that having all those stickies in the AGv3 forum makes users notice those threads instead of making threads about that certain topic.
All the stickies are fine by me, I think there are some threads that should be locked so people can't constantly bump them. Like in the S&S forum, there are some threads in there that should be locked because the topic has been answered already, but they're still open and some people like to bump those up.
..And in the tavern, that's just a horrible place. Half those threads don't deserve to be open.
I think that having one sticky thread with a lot of links would be difficult to read and search for things because you would have pages to go through to find one thread when they could simply make it a sticky so it isn't a hassle to find a thread.

Having a lot of duplicate locked threads make the forums look sloppy. The stickies are there to prevent that and help users understand things more.

The Tavern is horrible, but some of the thread ideas are good. I avoid the rest like SARS, the Black Plaque,African sleeping sickness and AIDS all rolled into one.
I think that lockedstickies should be de-stickied, if it hasn't already suggested.
The reason they`re locked is so people don`spam in them, because the stickies are not for discussions, unlike normal threads (excluding some in the Tavern, Flash Games and probably some others) but they are there for telling the rules or help.
I agree on the organizing part, the forums do look a tad sloppy. But I don't think it really matters on AG2 since AG3 is so close. But if the Moderators think it isn't a big problem to organize them then good.

Then maybe we should close the Support and Suggestions thread altogether since AG3 will fix all that, wouldn't it?
It takes like maybe half and hour to organize it, and we still have four months until AG3.
Yeah the I like the idea of the one sticky with links to the stickes. But I feel that AG3 will be out soon enough and that the messy sticky problem won't be too hard to deal with for much longer.
also there will not be any major updates to the current version (ag2) ever again seeing as ag3 is so close to being sent out. if u literally cannot wait for it however go to the link above and sign up for testing. the new armorgames logo is seriously nice aswell lol

ORLY? Apparently someone hasn't spent any time working with forums, especially one as large and hectic as this one. Seriously, if I reorganized everything by myself I'd probably be looking at close to 4 hours per day for a week. And that's IF people stopped posting and making a general mess of things that whole time. It's really a lot more work than you think to modify and keep up with a forum.
