Yep. Another insane Christian destroyed the artwork. This time it was "Piss Christ"

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/de/Piss_Christ_by_Serrano_Andres_%281987%29.jpg

Depicting a cross in a glass of the painter's urine. If you are wondering what the "Another" was for, I am referring the the Loveland (I think that was the place) place which had it's artwork showing Jesus in a bad light, receiving a blowjob if I remember correctly. Though from what I hear, this one is still going to be shown. In it's destroyed state.

What do you think of this attack? Insane borderline terrorist attack? Insane normal attack? Or are any of you insane enough to state these attacks where good things?

Neither are Atheism or Science religions - do your research before you come and play with the big boys, mmkay?

Anyway, if people are provoked by something so trivial, it proves that their religion isn't doing a good enough job of making them tolerant people.

That's not the best way to go about things, mate.

Anyway, if people are provoked by something so trivial, it proves that their religion isn't doing a good enough job of making them tolerant people.

It makes them more tolerant, but it makes them even more reliant on their religion.

Would you say that's a more accurate statement?

could you tolerate something absurd being done to you? But, I see
what you're getting at.

An interesting way to look at religion. It is, in a way, part of people. But, even then, anyone able to follow it so much to make it a part of them that much is pretty brainwashed / threatened / getting back on their feet in life / insane anyway.

I say brainwashed, that could mean indoctrinated. There are of course some sane people who have come to religion, but I don't see how I could consider them sane (I have higher expectations, I don't expect it, but I do wish I could, if you understand what I mean ).

And? Polititians piss me off sometimes but I don't got to the houses of parliament to blow them up.

Their lack of explanation sure doesn't help things - I don't think our emotional responses is top on their books which is usually what they feed us to get into power, as I've partially mentioned.

It's an insult to whomever's pride that they supported said politician, believing their promises would be fulfilled and then they rip you off and say "Nope, can't do that".

Then again, people don't think of it that way, nor do I think people should expect something of that caliber from a politician in the first place, to be quite blunt with it.

Want to know the real difference between a miltant atheist and a miltant believer?
A believer blows **** up, the atheist files a lawsuit.

Oh yes here is a perfect example of an atheist "filing a lawsuit":

Really? 'Cause Hitler was a Catholic. So if you really want to claim the acts of Hitler as inspired by ideology the closest one you can label him as is 'religious'. Methinks you need to do some studying bub.

Peoples religion should not be provoked, and everybody has a religion. You could say that atheist religion is no religion or science, and being mocked for that choice isn't something you would support or like, religions, however, are being questioned. Communism isn't a religion, so it isn't excatly in the same category.

Why not? You still haven't given a reason you've just said because.
Are they doing this on purpose?

Well they have free will and what they do clearly isn't designed to please people. So yes they do do what they do on purpose.

Sorry redhedbead but you just helped the other side of the argument.
But in all fairness, it's a good thing that happened since Hitler wasn't exactly of sane mind and it's not a prime example of the usual things that happens.

the only folks who claim hitler is an atheist are Christian Apologetics.

Yep. I wouldn't pull out the "Hitler card" anyway, because previously I knew not of his religion and therefore it was unreliable information. Christians always pull out unreliable cards anyway. :<

Hitler claimed to be a catholic, was born a catholic and all evidence suggests he was a catholic.

Hitler also has a small chance of being jewish (his grandfather might have been jewish).

Therefore, Catholicism is false.
