Two Soldiers

Once, there were two men,
Who would take on anything,
And could never fall.

They were like brothers,
Fighting in a battlefield,
For each other's lives.

Though, they were alone,
Enemies but no allies,
No one talked to them.

But they were happy,
Fighting were their whole lives,
And they would not quit.

They received a quest,
Though, it was a petty one.
Still, they headed off.

Both of them were fooled,
It was not a small creature.
It was a giant.

They looked at the beast,
Then back to one another,
And both of them smiled.

These were some haikus I made to choose from for the Haiku Contest thread. These ones are all separate, they're not connected.

Blinded by darkness
Thirsting for blood and death
The kills never stop

Unstoppable death
Nothing left but cold darkness,
Pain, and dying souls

Wounded and bloodied
Left alone in the darkness
Consumed by panic

Hate and anger reign
Rising high, controlling all
Unstoppable death

Alright, since I have no idea, I'll just post a short one. I know, it doesn't make sense..

Winter

He withstood the cold,
When he is just without clothes,
He does not fear cold.

The Adventure Left To Be A Mystery

A traveler walked,
To search for a vast antique.
It was a challenge.

He talked to many,
But none answered the poor man,
Until a sage came.

He told him a tale,
A tale that no one believed.
Yet, he went and searched.

When he found the cave,
He ventured in the darkness,
And there was a shout.

Who cares he shrugged, sad.
His eyes narrowed as she stared.
What was she thinking?

If only she knew...
if only she knew the truth
that they were dead, they were gone...

Wait, a haiku can be 5-7-7?

Husband And Wife

A husband and wife,
Happily ever after,
until the time came.

The wife was murdered,
Slaughtered and disemboweled,
Spat out like water.

Pain lurched at his heart,
When the husband knew the news.
He wept for his wife.

It's burning through me,
A fire starting in my soul.
This bottle's gonna blow!

Breaking from his jail
burning through walls of terror
Putting her worries to rest

Wait, a haiku can be 5-7-7?

The Beautiful Meadow And The Dark Streets

The peaceful meadow,
It's beautiful, always,
In the sight of us.

The dark streets echo,
Wolves howling on the outskirts,
No one would go there.

But in the meadow,
Lies an invisible bluff,
That no one expects.

The wolves howled the truth,
It spread across the dark streets,
But no one would care.
