I love writing Haikus. My best friend taught me how to write them. He said ' It's not that hard. All you have to do is learn.' So I did and I fell in love with them. Here's my first Haiku:
Clear like Crystals It is clear, you know that what some don't know, we do albeit, they will. 03/21/11
LOL haikus... my favorite type of poem... i remember i used to play an mmorpg called runescape and i only spoke in haikus XD anyway here is one i just made up: [b] THE MIGHTY DRAGON High in the mountains, A strong fearless dragon lives, Heros defeated.
One more comes, oh wow! Surely he can't beat the drake, He must be stupid.
A slash and a punch, Wow he has really done it! He slayed the dragon...
hmm by reading some of your poems i can see i learnt it differently than you. firsty... i learnt that you can put multiple haikus together and it is still a haiku ( like i did above) I am not saying you have to do it, but, 209+ times you have posted haikus in this thread and none were the way i wrote it.
secondly... i learnt that in every poem you have to put a comma at the end of the line and not a full stop.
please dont take those things as me saying your doing it all cause i dont mean that xd
Oh, wow. So surprised and proud of all you to see that Haiku Land is surviving, without me!! I can't say how happy it makes me! For Haiku Land to be a self sufficient, ever growing organism is beyond what I could have hoped for it during its inception. Thank you all so much for your dedication to this thread! Love you all!
