Isn't the bible supposed to be, y'know, the infallible word of God?
You have this bizarre idea that text must always trump tradition. The actual issue here is that you have no idea what you're talking about. It's not that religion makes no sense, it's that you aggressive nihilists don't get it. I know. Tough pill to swallow. I know you won't listen to me.
Which is more or less the problem. AG religious arguments are headed by fools. On one hand we have aggressive nihilists who just want to think they're right. You don't even care to try to understand religion, you just want that little high of thinking you're right, preferably as a group. Then you've got these idiots who hate homos because a dusty old book said so. Man, you people are hard to defend. If anyone cared to try to discuss religion, I think we'd all gain something. Instead, both sides would rather stagnate than learn.
Oh, and OP, since you asked, there is no god. Thought you ought to know.

No on one hand we have people who believe in a santa claus for adults and other people who want proof before they will believe in him.
Strictly catholic. Jesus died for our sins.
So an omni potent being had to commit suicide to forgive people sins even though he knew that the way he made humans would result in sins.
Atheist, don't believe in a god that supposedly make all your wishes come true and whatnot.
You have fun with that. Sounds like it.

Although Nilo is correct, you should also invest it researching the definition of suicide. At the least, it'd be assisted suicide, or kamikaze, seeing as he had a purpose in his death (although I daresay it was more noble than what Japanese pilots did.)
I thought as much, I just wanted to make sure I was right, it's nice to see that you acknowledge that religion isnt necessary for morality - a lot of fundamentalists would probably kick you in shins for saying that though.
I am tired of they insulting my religion.
If by 'insulting your religion' you mean questioning your beliefs and how right they actually are then, yes, we've been insulting your religion - however, if you mean that we've been directly insulting your beliefs, I'd like to point out that it's rather a two-way thing because you've been doing the same.
Jesus is supposed to have died to 'counteract' the original sin of Adam and Eve, right? Well, considering we now know that there wasn't a literal Adam and Eve, Jesus died for a myth. Even if there had of been a literal Adam and Eve then it wouldn't make much sense - God curses the whole of humanity for the sins of two people and then sends himself to die to atone for the curse that he put on everyone.
