The Guys from Mythbusters say they can bust it. What do you say to that?

Watch from 18:15 in to the end. I think that should sufficiently cover what I wanted to share

But guys, God in his allmightiness could have placed the fossils in order to fool the non-believers and sort the holy from the ****ed.

Just kidding guyz, evolution is obviously the truth, it's just there are many theories of it and its uncertain as to which is the correct one (or even if there has been an absolute theory yet)

The deceptive God claim.

(or even if there has been an absolute theory yet)

That doesn't make sense. If you mean a theory that's been absolutely proven we can't have one. A theory has to remain falsifiable to allow for further modification if new evidence presents itself.

just out of curiousity, MGW, i thought that autralopithecus aferensis
lived in australia and has no connection with homosapiens, they died out in australia be4 they moved out of it, but i might be thinking about sumthing else

The australopitheci were african hominids. Quote from wiki:
Australopithecus (Latin australis "southern", Greek pithekos "ape&quot

The earliest hominid bones found in Australia were dated to ca. 40'000 years, so quite younger than australopithecus. They were presumably homo sapiens who crossed a bridge during a glaciation or something like that.

I believe the earliest human inhabitants of Australia crossed over from Papua New Guinea during the last ice age, which was possible due to the low sea level. The history of human migration from Africa can be traced with surveys of mitochondrial DNA in present-day populations (which does not mutate over generations).

But if we evolved from monkeys...
WHY DO WE STILL HAVE MONKEYS!? (Two... "Cookies" if you get the reference.)
Well, does anyone have a more logical way explaining how we got here?
Nope?
OK then.

Richard Dawkins is angry, hahaha
Well, we NOT evolved from monkeys, we (humans and monkeys) evolved from a same and extinct specie!

We didn't evolve from monkeys!!!!!!! We are primates, like gorillas, chimpanzees, and orangutans. The reason why they are still here is because modern primates evolved from hominids, that's why we share the same ancestors with gorillas, chimps, and apes.

Seriously, some people need to read a book or even freaking Google something before they make a post.

Brzedzed, some people just follow what the church tells them blindly and refuse to hear what others have to say, I mean lol, the people actually used to believe that the Earth was at the center at the Universe lol

Yes we did evolve from monkeys along with the other great apes, just not modern monkeys.

This thread makes me laugh. Uncontrollably, as I'm yet to see one argument against evolution, where the person making the argument actually knows what evolution is.
