Well I suppose if the thread was titled "Chips or Crisps", you Americans would all be sitting there scratching your chins on how to answer this simple yet baffling question.
I'll take a nice batch of chips over a bag of crisps any day. Chips are like three-dimensional versions of crisps, which loads them up with flavour. So of course I'd pick the more flavourful one.
