This whole "religion vs. science" thing is just unproductive given the fact that no matter what proof is presented, people's belief won't change. So even if either side has proof, they're still going to fight. Let's move on to more productive things, such as -Economics -Social Injustices -Crime Rates And, most importantly, -Why the government is stubborn (in America).

So...You would rather talk about economics, social injustices, and crime rates, without changing anyone's opinion on anything, rather than talking about religion without anyone changing their mind on anything? And even then, we do have some people changing their mind. If you think you can change peoples minds about the other things, then fine, but it is really not so different than religion, except in that case science is correct and it is absolutely correct, while the economics etc can be more subjective.
Why do you think I created the "Atheism Vs. Religion" thread? It was originally a home for debates like that but most people used it to point out others' failing thoughts... Idiots.

Well, if it's a religious discussion then
I'll give it... hmm... 20 minutes
before turning into another thread that basically is a flame war. And as for this

All I have to say is that arguing about the same thing for a while is getting boring, and we're getting nowhere, so we could argue about something else.

Feel free. I don't see anyone stopping you, and I have not seen you even attempt to do so. So why not start now? Go make a thread about one of those specific things you wish to talk about, and we will see how far it gets.
Hey buddy, watch the language, we don't people to start getting banned for swearing now do we? :P
Anyways, I respect the idea but overall, I don't think any of us here are politicians so id be hard for most of those topics. Heck, it'd be harder for politicians themselves hahaha, bad joke lol
Are you saying religion (ideas) is less subjective than something based on numbers?
I am saying that the truth doesn't bend for anyone, religion is all false. The truth is objective, not subjective.
Economics, such as economic types, can be more subjective. Such as "Which is better, le farre capitalism or socialism?", for the socialism you could argue that it benefits everyone, while capitalism it does what it does. It isn't objective if socialism or capitalism is better, but it is objective the fact that there is no god.
It is true that when two parties debate, they rarely ever move the other. However, you must remember that there's a third party that consists of people who are currently undecided. They are the ones who are influenced. They are the ones who are moved.
