Great. First saudi dimplomats speaking arabic and now british muslims on their way to england kicked out cause they talked about religion. there is no reason to kick someone off because the are talking about religion. some people talk about waaaaay worse stuff and no-one says a thing! its not like tey were saying oh, man my last crap was a ghost s**t or something like that! why's this always happ'nin?

Normal members can't ban you, only moderators and administrators can do that, however - by displaying biased and bigoted views in such an unconsidered and inconsiderate manner (bigoted views in any manner aren't particularly good) you won't gain yourself any popularity with people and may find yourself banned if you say or do things that break the rules of the forum. Back on topic - if they displayed behaviour/said something that might have been potentially worrying then I can understand the fear reaction but I think they got treated slightly unfairly.
My favorite thing to do in airports is to walk up to people and whisper "Don't get on the plane" and then make some weird hand gesture and walk away. (I wouldn't suggest actually doing the above)
But on a serious note, it isn't right to discriminate against someone for their religion, race or beliefs and it is very sad that it has come to this.
It's annoying bullcrap that you have to put up with that other's don't. It's discrimination. I'm not sure if you've ever experienced it but trust me you feel left out, cornered, powerless, and you get a serious disdain about the society you live in.
Not really. But then again, this guy started an organization that has apparently been breading extremists, which I have never done. This isn't "Random Muslim guy thrown into a cell and tortured repeatedly", it is "Muslim who was co-founder of an 'increasingly extremist' group needing clearance to enter a paranoid country". What is wrong with that?

So he actually founded an organization that is "Increasingly radical". He actually did something. This isn't the case of "SOME BROWN GUY, BURN HIM WITH FIRE!" this is "That guy founded an organization that seems to be breeding radicals. Maybe we should have him check with the Americans before he enters the country....". He didn't lose any money, what is the problem here?
First off: my rule is, NEVER EVER BELIEVE COMPLETELY IN MEDIA. they might just take whatever quote that they even when they are completely out of context. they might even just put any description that they want. that is what exactly happened to Dr Zakir Naik and several other people. so much for freedom of speech.

this is a perfect example of believing completely what the media spoonfeed you. well, how do you know that it is true? i believe, the organization is called radical just because it has the title 'islam' in it. nevertheless, why would the authorities capture him in the first place? to persuade him nicely to leave the group? what crap. 'his links to the increasingly radical World Assembly of Muslim Youth'. what link? if he is a president, the press whould be glad to jot that. probably, he is just a member, or rather, a janitor. what a perfect excuse for media to justify their actions.

I read that the World Assembly of Muslim Youth is suspected to support the Hamas and Al-Qaida with money. The protection of the constitution in Baden-Württemberg (a German state) said (I translated it from German into English):
Generally, it [the WAMY] takes the position that "the Jews are the enemies of the faithful, God and the angels, the Jews are the enemies of humanity"
And this is what the organisation says about child education (I translated it from German into English): [quote]"Teach our children to love that revenge is taken against the Jews and the oppressors and teach them that our youth will free Palestine and Al-Quds [Jerusalem], if they return to Islam and exercise jihad for the love of Allah. "

what do you feel if a land that belong to you was stolen by somebody else. and when you try to fight for it, everybody claim that you're a terrorist?
what do you understand about the world jihad? war and terrorism right? well, that's what the media has been spoonfeeding you. jihad is vast by meaning. it comes from the word 'jahada' which means to strive for somthing. even studying can be considered as jihad, diplomatic methods can also be considered jihad, not just war. all the things that you watched in the media has been filtered, they show you what they want. they show you the bad sides of an organization and claimed that that is the true form of them.

I find it funny how nearly no Americans know that there are currently close from 3-5 Million Palestinian Refugees across the earth, and it is the Israeli military, one we help fund, that has caused this unfair snatching of land.
As for that particular organization, I think it does sound a little messed up. It has been one noted for harsh diction, and so I think it is okay to ask the man for checking -- but why can't that happen pre-board. Also, it's a little unclear to judge, but were his travelling rights taken away? and was he questioned or what?
Lastly, as per freedom of speech, you can do whatever the crap you want unless it presents a 'clear and present danger'
Person x's hatred of Jews on a plane does not mean he'll blow up a plane. He just doesn't like jews. Now if he had a hate on American airliners, it would be different, but he doesn't.
