i have to agree slayer is not satanic compared to say, diecide...but they do have satanic overtones and lyrics...but man can they kill it!

As Wally said, they DO have certain satanic overtones and lyrics, as I said earlier.

Are they singing songs praising the aspects of Satan? No. But it IS an aspect of it, that's all.

You can say that matalica is pysco-scream-o but ist not like "System of a Down" but its classic '80's hits make it the best metal band ever period

i deff think metalica is better. my favorite song by them is nothing else matters. i just learned how to play it on my guitar. but i also think that the solo for 1 is beast.

Definitely Metallica, but Slayer is always going to be one of the best in my book.
