I think Metallica is better than Slayer. They have more famous songs.

Just because they have more famous songs doesn't mean that they are better, I do like Metallica more than Slayer, but Slayer has achieved a lot more than Metallica has.

i've never heard either but my friend tels me about metalica so i say metalica

They are both great bands,but i like metallica a bit more,the old metallica

thats a tough call they are both amazing and both have great songs and awesome guitar players. Id have to settle on Metallica.

Metallica is easily better. Slayer is horrible. A lot of people actually think they're good because they have a couple songs on Guitar Hero lol.

I enjoy Slayer's music but their vocals just iritate me. Both are gods of Thrash Metal, the two best of that Genre. I'm going with Metallica I just find their songs more enjoyable.

I'm not a big Metallica fan,but I think their music is decent. Now,Slayer,I can't even stand. So my vote goes to Metallica.
