Now, I'm a great fan of Guitar Hero 3 (and I find hard difficulty quite easy), but a few months ago I bought the new 'Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock', and don't get me wrong it was a decent game, it's kinda lost it's touch. The songs have got increasingly less rock-type, the characters a bit dodgy and the star power used to give you that huge Adrenaline Rush punch in the face, but now it's kind of a ...wow star power, amazing... kinda feeling. And now apparently the whole guitar hero series has been cancelled and I'm a bit disappointed about it. What do you think?
i played guitar hero one and two when they came out and got good, then got bored, got rock band when it came out and was still bored, there just inst enough changing and making things different to keep the games 'new' imo, so i gave up on all the music games, and for this rocksmith never heard of it buuut i dont got a real guitar soooooo
It must be going down hill since I didnt even hear of the knew Guitar Hero coming out
its not that WOR is bad quallity itself, its really a good game. but their advertising for the game is very very limited compared to the GH2,3,metallica,aerosmith,and WT
ikr, GH3 was amazing, GH4 was good, but had some weird songs, GH5, i liked a few songs, but the rest were either ok or really boring. I didn't bother getting warriors of rock. Band Hero was ok if that was the kind of thing you liked. But they generally got worse after a while.
I think the series went downhill because nearly every game felt the same. I think they should make a Kinect guitar hero, that would be awesome if they did it well.
