While they don't always center around innovative gameplay, you can be sure to have some wicked story coming along with an Atlus game; take Baroque for example.
I always liked them for making such classics as Personna, but these days, I'm getting more and more surprised at the the steady progress they're making on the gameplay field. I recently bought ''Knights in the Nightmare'', for the Ds, and I was amazed at how rich and original the game was.
Anyone has an opinion of Atlus they want to share?
Well FallenSky, you have to look at STING for the developers that made KitN, Riviera: The Promised Land, and Yggdra Union, plus others. STING is a very underground developing company in that it has developed few games compared to others. According to GameFaqs, their reputation lifted off in the late 90s when they developed and released Treasure Hunter G and Evolution, both highly-rated games, receiving both 8s and 9s. Since then, they've been emphasizing in RPG/Adventure games.
To me, STING is a very prestigious developing company and makes very strong games. They just take so long to detail their game that they make few.
