well i wouold choose the boomerang for a long range melee weapon and and a machete for close range cause you just cant beat its slicing power plus its a classic melee weapon right up there with the butcher knifa and katana

Tomahawk, I've seen a variety of awesome pre-gunpowder weaponry, but the Tomahawk serves as both a throwing weapon capable of cracking one's skull open and a more than able melee weapon for close quarters.
