Just because their profiles are a little messed up, doesn't mean people should go crazy.
If that suspected user hacked AG we could find the whole site turned upside down. Besides, even if the guy knows nothing about coding he still knows enough to take the site down for a while.
AG2 was down for just a couple of hours and people start going nuts?
I went to some of my other tabs when it went down. It isn't something to get so excited about, but people wonder why it went down, and what's wrong with the profiles.
I've built sites in the past. Not from a template like "webs.com" or "google sites" but my very. Own. Thing. They aren't easy to change, it takes quite a bit of knowledge and time. If this guy did it, he probably can do it again. My other, and more realistic explanation, is that some coding that held the site up was screwed up whilst transferring data to AG3.
A certain user was banned a while back. He vowed vengeance in the form of taking the site or something similar. Matrix already pointed it out.
And based on this, you suspect that, if AG2 was indeed hacked, that it would be the same exact person? Well, it doesn't hold much water to me
What happened to AG?
Same reason as all the other times when AG2 was down for a short period of time.
Im just worried that it means ag3 is coming soon and im not looking forward to that!
You're gonna have to get used to the idea. For whatever reason you're not looking forward to it, you could always suggest ideas to the staff members so you finally DO look forward to it and to help improve it.
The firetail profile thing has happened before so I dont think it was a hacker

No because the reasons i like ag2 are some of the reasons why theyre making ag3
It wasn't a hacker, it was a physical problem in the building where our servers are located. They tell us it's related to their heating/cooling systems, and the site was offline for a little over one hour.
The issues you're seeing, especially slowness are because when all of our machines go offline like that it takes a while to rebuild all of the caching. It'll sort itself or in time, just be patient.
