Hmm well...i'd probably say Gohan, except he's lame past the Buu saga. Possibly Trunks..Don't really know. They each are pretty cool, and have more character than the others in it...Goku is quite oblivious, and Vegeta only focuses on one thing, Goten just becomes a *pretty boy* in GT, and none of the other characters really can do anything.
I used to watch this when I was quite young and I would have to say that either vegeta for his crude arrogant *I am better than you but in a cool way* or Picolo for his *I'm green with antenna's and regenerating limbs* is my favourite character.
Tien was always there when it looked like hope was lost (unless he was dead) to hold down the fort for the others to either get away or so they could power up. He'd be the human I picked over Krillin...
...but I'll either go with Goku or one of Goku/Vegeta's fusions as my main.
Vegito, love his perswonality and style.... plus he boxes in his fights XD...... little known fact, Vegito is actually the strongest character ever to appear or be created in DBZ...... with no transformations still stronger than ss1 Gogeta...... i really do wish they would have made the AF and not the "AF"-April Fools.... well, it does have a manga...
What about SS4 Gogeta, but yeah Vegito is beast, I mean he kicked Super Buu's @$$ as a freaking candy, But My faves in order are Vegeta, Jeice, Android 18, and Vegito in that order.

To the question: Goku Because he always stays cool. His true love is not only Chi-Chi (I mean food). And he's not that intelligent. So he's also often funny.
