This is basically the same game as the one that has been running for quite a while, but it will be all official material, no house rules or non-rulebook sources of any kind, and I may enforce mandatory characters if things get too far out of hand (TRF has said that things were getting carried away in the other game). I also want chracter and OOC dialouge to be better managed, in other words don't fill this game up with a bunch of meaningless chatter (If all you want to do is talk about something, do it in the other game). New players are always welcome, and in fact encouraged, even if you don't own any of the books or know any of the rules. If any new players want to join, see the other game for rules, give me a race and class, and I will take care of the rest. As soon as at least 4 characters are made, this game will begin. The module I am using is a DCC, known as "The Black Pearl" (and I don't mean the ship from Pirates of the Caribbean)
The Gargoyle roars and leaps on Cassio, missing with one Claw, hitting with the second, then biting him, then missing with his horn. G: "THAT IS NOT THE PASSWORD!!! LEAVE THIS AREA OR DIE!!!"
Kyr stabs the Gargoyle with his dagger after missing with his Shortsword. Viktor hits with his Slam. Adepte lands her blow on the Gargoyle. Fist misses with his punch. Cassio hits critically with his first swing, then lands his second blow. Asura misses with his Greatsword. The Gargoyle misses with his first claw, but hits with the second, the bite and the horn.
So, same as last round? Cassio and Kyr both attack with both weapons and Adepte hits with her Morningstar? Cass is down to 25/50 Hit Points. Will Adepte heal him instead?
Kyr misses with his Shortsword, but hits with his Dagger, killing the Gargoyle. Cass is healed to 40/50.
The Priest runs up. P: "I forgot to tell you that...!!! Oh... I guess you handled it..... Well, I guess I'll be off..." He turns to leave, then seems to remember something. P: "Sister, the Church has decided to allow you to borrow this." He holds out an intricately carved sword with an equally ornate scabbard. P: "You will know when the time come to use this." Once she takes it, he leaves.
