This is basically the same game as the one that has been running for quite a while, but it will be all official material, no house rules or non-rulebook sources of any kind, and I may enforce mandatory characters if things get too far out of hand (TRF has said that things were getting carried away in the other game). I also want chracter and OOC dialouge to be better managed, in other words don't fill this game up with a bunch of meaningless chatter (If all you want to do is talk about something, do it in the other game). New players are always welcome, and in fact encouraged, even if you don't own any of the books or know any of the rules. If any new players want to join, see the other game for rules, give me a race and class, and I will take care of the rest. As soon as at least 4 characters are made, this game will begin. The module I am using is a DCC, known as "The Black Pearl" (and I don't mean the ship from Pirates of the Caribbean)

Isn't that what Thrall of Juiblex is?
No it's a prestige class.
Doesn't matter, he'd still be the better ranger by far.
He is not a ranger.

So, my idea of the party having been together for a while and everybody starting out in a slaughtered village works, right?

Hyper, the Werewolf is by far a better tracker.

That could be fun, but my guy is not really big on slaughter he likes to make people laugh and have fun.
He's a devout follower of Loviatar. 'Nuff said.
Ooh kinky, I might like this guy.

Hyper, the Werewolf is by far a better tracker.

True, but that's pretty much all he'd be doing.

He is not a ranger.

He's part ranger, and a better ranger than the full ranger.

How about they start out separately, and find a demolished village? Who wants to be behind the slaughtered village?

We need a tracker.

No he is just more athletic.

My guy could be the cause.

We need a tracker.

Not really. Trackers aren't all that important, and even if they were, clerics are far more important anyway.

No he is just more athletic.

Other than tracking, what exactly is the wereranger better than your guy at?

My guy could be the cause.

So could the cleric.

Ranger stuff, anything that does not involve being agile and strong.
So could the cleric.
Yeah there the only two that I really see as causing this. Why would the cleric do it.

Really, my guy would probably do it to bleed the suckers dry then leave the village and villagers as husk of there former selves.

My character would be heavily opposed to slaughtering helpless people.

My guy doesn't usually kill unless he has to wants to or is bored.

So, my character is shaping up to be the most likely culprit?

Yeah if my guy were the one to do it, he would just leave the people drained, shells of there former selves wandering around town tired and laughing.
