Should I prestige?
I prestiged until I got to ten custom classes, and it was frustrating. So I only recommend prestiging if you want those extra custom class slots.

Well I always tell my friends if you don't want to prestige, you should just go first so that you unlock the prestige challenges. I would go prestige if I were you, it doesn't take too long to get back to 80.

thats what i do! it works pretty good but you should choose before you get to level 80 otherwise you get attached to your guns and its hard.

I use hauppauge hd pvr one of the most common capture cards the only downside is that it costs a lot.

So true I guess the stuff they wear ways alot so they can't run for long
You also have to remember that depending on the gun you dont move your arms while running. Also, last I check you probably cant sprint for more then four seconds carrying n M60 can you?
It's CoD, it's not supposed to be realistic. They should've at least brought back unlimited sprint with marathon.
i have PS3 CoD but would much rather play on Xbox 360 because they have their private servers, where PS3 servers always lagg out because host has bad connection.

It is. The Type-95 in MW3 is basically the famas from MW2, just different name and it looks a little different.
Also, you have to remember that Black Ops was the last treyarch game and it was horrible.
I'm not sure what you mean by "last", but they're releasing another one later this year. Also, in terms of least amount of bull****, it's better than MW2 and MW3. The only bad things I see about it is the lag, famas outclassing all the smgs, and the second chance perk. Otherwise it was the most balanced game.
Bad things about MW2: People abusing noobtubes with one man army and danger close, commando knife lunge, last stand, sniping outclasses everything because you don't have juggernaut to counter stopping power, deathstreaks, and tons of people would boost for nukes.
Bad things about MW3: Lethal deathstreaks such as final stand and dead mans hand, support killstreaks (all the uav and counter uav spam, and the stealth bomber which should be an assault killstreak), overpowered guns such as the type-95, mk14, and fmg9s, maps are pretty small (some may like it, but I absolutely hate only having two or three ways to go on a map because people often camp around them and you have little chance of success), shotguns are garbage, and the lag compensation which is way worse than the lag in Black Ops.
I'm not saying Black Ops was perfect, but I'd rather play it than the modern warfare games because I won't die from people dropping to their *** and pulling out a mini nuke, knife lunging across a hallway, getting quickscoped all the time, dying from noob tubes often, I have several ways to go on the large Black Ops maps, and machine pistols aren't in the game.

Another weird thing with the IW cods that bothers me is, why can't your charecter talk? Frost never said a word thought the game, and yuri only talked when the leves were loading, when explaining the back story and a little when at the end when u are price. Wtf? As for sprinting, well I think they did that to try and make people not complain that "I can just keep sprinting, it's so un realistic". But for the campaign it kinda makes sense. Think, they are carrying 2 or three(akimbo) guns (they weigh a bit), about 5 grenades, 5 flash grenades, the air force laptop, smoke grenades and the radar system. Not to mention helmets, body armor and about 300 rounds. Imagin how fast you could run carying all that.

If they remade CoD4 and WaW with what most people want, I think they would be the best and all other CoDs would be irrelevant. Those two games got me into CoD just because of how simple and fun they were. It's a shame how they got hacked so badly.

Me too. I also like the weapon ranking system (except for 30-31 on primaries, such a grind to get gold guns. Though when you compare it to Black Ops it's way easier), specialist package, most of the guns are pretty balanced, prestige shop, and some of the new game modes like team defender, kill confirmed, and infected. If it wasn't for specialist I'm sure I would've stopped playing by now.
Most of these problems you noted could be fixed in patches and map packs.
I'm sure they know this, but they never fix the big frustrations, and it's because if they do and the new game isn't up to expectations, then they lose sales. And a greedy company like Infinity Ward isn't going to allow that.
The difference between Infinity Ward and Treyarch is that Treyarch actually listens to their customers and cares for what they suggest. David Vonderhaar has tweeted a few times about second chance in the game being a mistake and other things like the famas being too powerful, but they only have a small window to fix the problems in previous CoDs before they focus on a new one, since they release a new one every year. And sadly I think that window has closed for MW3, so what it is now is what you get.

Snipers in Black Ops are supposed to be used like actual snipers, not quickscoping, though it's still possible, it just isn't as easy as scoping in and automatically getting a one shot kill like in the Modern Warfares, there's more sway and it's not always going to go straight. The shotguns weren't that bad either, on maps like firing range, nuketown, and havana the shotguns easily dominate.
Your point about the MK14 Being newb is irellevant if you liked Black Ops because the FN FAL was newb also.
The difference is that it has recoil and takes half of the mag to kill, while the MK14 has little recoil and takes two-three shots to kill at any range.

Over my self? If you don't like it then you can just leave. I talk about the good and bad things about CoD in a thread about CoD, simple as that. I'm not going to be a fanboy who praises the games no matter the flaws.
Take a hint, when someone say "the last game *insert game company* made was so great/horrible" you can assume it is the most recent game of that type made by the company.
Saying "last game" instead of "most recent" can cause confusion.
