this poor 17 year old person is the butt of every joke nowadays. why do you guys hate him so much? sure, he cant sing, but I bet you cant either. 12 year old girls love him, but I bet if you were 12 years old and filled with estrogen, you couldnt help yourself either. he isnt famous for his music anymore. hes famous because everybody hates him for no apparent reason.
The hatred has to come from somewhere. If you hate the kid, then you are jealous of him because of something that he has that you don't have. If you hate him because of his music, then don't listen to his music. It's that easy. If you listen to his songs then complain about it, then you must enjoy it somehow.
Caaaaaaaaan you feel, the looooove, toniiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?
The kid has talent, people. If it was actual hate then you would at least go as far to see him do something besides his songs that he doesn't make, he is just an instrument for the song. The kid is musically gifted, he just had to grow up, really. He's a teen, too, not that far from me or you, and you are going to hate him because you don't like his voice? You can't blame him for the songs if you have a bit of a brain, every idiot knows that the people that sing most radio songs don't write their own things, or make all of the music. They just sing words then get paid and repeat. He plays guitar, drums, etc, etc. Wiki the kid before you decide to hate him. He has a life too.
I hate his music. I haven't exactly met him to make a decision like that. I find his voice to be annoying, but that's no reason to hate anybody either. He might be a pretty cool guy who just has yet to puberty. Although, that all being said, I wasn't exactly happy when Selena Gomez was getting death threats when they started going out. Not exactly something to just sit around and do nothing about.
Occasional jokes about him pop up as much as homosexual slurs (Frequently) Girls want him and guys, as much as they resent him and mock him, would want to be him. The kids not even 18 yet and he's making over 20million dollars, the amount that people strive to make but cannot reach the pervervial point.
As far as his music goes, he is a house hold name, and you gotta admit, sucking or not, his "baby" song is catchy and addictive. Plus the fact it's the most watched video on YouTube and 2nd most disliked video on YouTube (Hey being top disliked has it's props too!)
Who's to say his star power will die out when he reaches the point when he must change his image and persona in order to save his career? He broke out into the music business in 2008 and mainstream in 2009. It's currently 2011 and 3 years after his debut, he's taking top billboard charts, most internet downloaded songs, and music awards.
Hes the American idea of a new trend, and his song "Never Say Never" featuring Jaden Smith, main protagonist in the blockbuster movie remake of the Karate Kid, and also son of film star and rap singer, Will Smith and supermodel Jada Smith, inspires others to, like the title of the song, Never to say never and believe in reaching your dreams, because as much as you try, you have to have faith in your self to ever accomplish anything. Heck, MTV even entitled the song into a documentary based movie, PG Rated, and currently the first ever PG rated MTV movie that reached highly in gross revenue of box office.
I personally don't hate the kid, but jokes of him are talked about every once and a while, but there's no doubt in my mind, someone else will pop up from no where and take the preverbal brass ring to become as famous, or even more famous, than bieber in the near future.
His music can stay right where it is. You just don't have to listen to it.
wis he was dead
That's a bit harsh. Not in the least bit original, but it's terribly harsh; not to mention completely un-called for. It's one thing to dislike someone's music, but to wish they were dead is totally unnecessary. Granted, I'm sure it's nothing more than bandwagon-based hatred, which is barely hatred at all, but it's still more than a few steps above disliking someone; especially if you don't have a good reason.
