Another nice one here, mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80's F. However, I wish it would rain again... It's forecasted for Thursday through Saturday, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
In tropical news...
Tropical Storm Fernanda in the Eastern Pacific is heading toward Hawaii, but is expected to lose its tropical storm status by the time it hits.
Tropical Storm Greg, also in the Eastern Pacific, could bring some heavy showers to parts of Mexice, but is expected to move away from land. It may briefly become a hurricane before weakening over cooler waters.
In the Central Caribbean, there is a tropical wave moving directly west. It seems slightly more organized from yesterday, but does not yet look healthy. If it does develop, it will do so slowly over the next couple days and is not expected to impact the U.S.
In the Eastern Atlantic, there is a tropical wave with a broad rotation but little thunderstorm activity. It is too early to say what will become of it.
A tropical wave has just recently come off the western coast of Africa.

They said that this year's Winter was going to be the coldest ever! Just like they said that last year's Summer was going to be the Hottest ever... (they were right on the latter :P).
Haha! It's a tough job, forecasting the unpredictable!
Oh, and, by the way, Northern Winds blowed like, uh... crazyness... yesterday. I was at a soccer match and the gymnasium's door fell apart! It was made of steel! :O.
Then a seemingly stormy rain began. It stopped right away, though.
It's toying with your mind... Watch out! :P And, a STEEL door? That's crazy!
The only weather i think is awesome is when it is sunny other wise weather blows!!!!
Correction: wind blows. The only weather I don't like is sunny weather! It's so boring!
I was also hoping for more of a snowfall here, as Ireland sucks compared to the Maine winter (The only other place i've been in during winter) but then i realized how much of a pain snowstorms can be, shutting everything down >.>
Hey, you're back! Welcome!
Yeah, they do cause a lot of headache, but you can do so much cool stuff! I have a friend that lives on a cul-de-sac, and all the snow gets shoved into an empty lot near his house. After the one big storm we had last winter, there was so much snow that we dug a huge tunnel in the pile, and three of us fit inside almost comfortably! It was so awesome!
How to get less wet in rainy days: running or walking?
That was an interesting story! Thanks for the translation!
I've always loved storms, they are a voilent, wild beauty. People underapprecieate them.
You have my eternal respect. :P Yeah, storms are so incredible. Every time one comes here I have to sit and watch, because each one is different, yet amazingly powerful.
Well, some people hate the cold and they don't want to get sick.
I can understand that, but not all storms are cold. Though it is true that most storms bring a drop in temperature, however slight.
I get sick a lot, but I can't help it. And as for me I love the cold.
I wouldn't go so far as to say I
love the cold, but I have no specific hate for it. In fact, I tend to be one of the most tolerant people in my school when it comes to cold.
Why clouds have different shapes?
Loved that story. Thanks so much for translating and posting; it really gives a great understanding of what clouds are and why they're so diverse!
Now the heat starts coming in and soon I will be seeing temperatures of 110 degrees fahrenheit. Why does it have to be so hot!?
That just stinks... No one needs heat that high. I hope you can escape it soon.
It's kinda hot outside. Mostly because of the sun being up there and everything.
The sun does tend to warm things up a bit. ;D It got pretty hot this morning, sitting with my back to the sun. It really beat down on me.
Earlier today, I heard that Texas was called a "hell hole" due to the high temperatures. Fortunately, I do not live there.
Yes, that is true. Many places in Texas remain in the triple digit high's category, and some are experiencing over a foot deficit of rain. That must be awful. I hope that a weak tropical storm or a depression will come through there, and dump some much needed rain.
Clear skies (>5% cloud) and 80F today. Nice compared to other parts of the country, but still warm and dry.
Our weather is very similar, almost daily! Some clouds during the heating hours today, otherwise sunny and about 86 F.
