@ WizardInBlack - Haha thanks, there is always time for a LolCat

@ thoadthetoad: I think people find it more offensive that it is starred out.

Its starred everywhere you go, Carlie. As -- Usually, in the modern world, people use the word "G.ay" (without the dot) as an demeaning term to insult their sexuallity and who they are. And usually, calling someone gay can lead to alot of "Flaring". [Since, people calling you Gay isn't really a good thing usually, in the whole scheme of things]

There's also the big truckload of people who just blurt out the word g/\\y with disrespect and ignorance for anything. Example, "This game is gay", "Stop acting like a fa.g, dude". And so on.

the NFL had website problems because the 'g' word is not allowed on their personalized jerseys, however, the CB (or safety) for New England is named Randall Ga.y and there was a big to-do over his fans not being able to get jerseys with his name and number.

WizardInBlack, to be honest, There are alot of people who just use the word as stupid. Doesn't show ignorance of disrespect. It just shows a habit of using a word for an improper meaning. You could make the same argument on the word "cool" if it meant something more important. Just because as I said Homosexuality is to some, Unnatural and offensive. [Before I am hated, let it be clear i'm underlining the word some :P]
Also, I've never even heard of that NFL dude. o.o

I think it is ridiculous personally. Some people are proud to be g.ay, and should not have to worry about that word being censored. If other people want to try and make it derogatory, than so be it. But I don't think it is right to censor it.

Well, some people are proud to use the "F" word in a respectful term. The fact it still is used derogatory makes it a problem on the net. Therefor, it is slaughtered. Same as the word g.ay, you can proud to be so if you are, yet you also know the same word can be used in a horribly, demeaning, and derogatory manner that shouldn't allowed in a public speaking place on the net.

I hate the g/ay pride movement, though. And some of the people who I know who are gay do, too. It's partly because of that shit that people aren't willing to take homosexuality seriously as just a different lifestyle.

Imo, I still think most people are brainwashed by the fact that if you choose to be gay, "YOUR GOING TO BURN IN A LAKE OF FIRE". Don't mean to be rude, but I think Christians are a huge problem with it.

What is it that you do not like about the g.ay pride movement, more specifically? We wouldn't need a movement if people just accepted it, and moved on. But, the fact is that people are not that understanding. Thus --> movement.

Someone in love with killing can't be understood for a reason, as well. A pride movement for mafia members wouldn't drag on well.
Thus --> Movement has its roadblockers. Some things aren't accepted by society, others take a while to be acccepted. There aren't that many different lifestyles in the world besides cultural, racial, religious, and country based. Now, you see a sexual sort of different lifestyle. Goes a bit out of bounds. People have their reasons. Some things to some people are too far off to accept, and it turns into different meanings. I don't want to change the meaning of the word, still, I have my reasons for not wanting to accept it. [Which I've stated. xP]

Carlie, I agree with you completely about g.ay being censored and the fact about movements. It is necessary for us to have movements, otherwise many people would still be repressed.

Wizard, you do not choose to be g.ay. You just are. Trust me, my life would be easier if I were straight.

Oh, I know believe me. I tried it, a lot of my friends are gay so I gave it a shot once, so I kinda went out with one of them for a while. Just wasn't my thing.
