Everyone, like Devoidless stated, has a little bit of homosexuallity in them, though some might not want to admit it. I am not stating my position on this matter, I'm just saying, if you don't think you have a little bit of that in you, you wouldn't be able to tell if someone of your own gender is attractive or not.
I don't agree with you Golden Cross, sexuality does not have to do with ability to recognize the beauty, only the disposal to speak your mind on that topic.
'Tell what you think', I mean, you can recognize someone of your gender is pretty homosexual or not, but your opinion about homosexuality might keep you from telling it to others.
Hey, my post wasn't about my opinion of homosexuality, but I was just restating the fact that almost everyone is, with no better way to put it, a little bit gay.
//I doubt any guy on here will admit that they are not 100% heterosexual. I firmly believe it doesn't exist. I've read numerous articles and studies that show a large percentage of people have had homosexual dreams. This does not mean one would classify themselves as homosexual or ever act on the impulse. I also read this study done on phone sex operators and the women report that a large number of men request ana.l play and other things of that nature.//
But it was WOMEN who reported it, because the men wanted a WOMAN to do it with. Would you like some common sense with those fries, Asherlee?
Look, I'm not saying your theory is crap, but I personally don't believe it to be true.
I read on a science timeline that it was discovered that homosexuals had a common chemical imbalance that straight people didn't have. So, it would take that chemical imbalance to cause homosexuality, and without it, they're straight.
Also, just because a guy had a homosexual dream, doesn't mean he's homosexual. Maybe it was a nightmare. Maybe he was in agony wishing for it to be over.
And consider this: I'm straight, I've had COUNTLESS dreams involving girls, my room is COATED in girls, the thought of a muscular guy missing ANY article of clothing, makes me want to throw up. I couldn't be homosexual to save my life.
I believe that homosexuality is not a choice. I also believe that it is perfectly possible to be 100% straight, 100% gay, as well as 50-50, or even 60-40, 70-30, 80-20. However, I completely believe that 100% straight is the most common orientation. For every gay/lesbian/bi person I know, I know about 3 straight people.
I believe homosexuals should have the same marriage rights that straight people do. If they want to be miserable too, then why can't they?
Marriage is an institution of the church, and therefore the state has no right to regulate it. However, legally, they should be extended the same rights (I.E. tax breaks, that sort of thing), which is what it's all about anyways, right? If it were REALLY about love, no one would have an issue with it. But that's not what the battle is about. All boils down to the greenback.
^But you're wrong, this whole thing isn't about love. If it were about love, 2 things would be different: 1. No one except the deeply religious would try and fight it, and 2. They wouldn't be fighting so hard for their rights. It's like I said, the entire issue is about tax breaks. People fail to realize that about gay marriage.
And @GC that's like saying everyone's a little bit Irish. One day out of the year, that may be true, but the rest of the time...
I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but I need to be blunt.
Snowball, argue with me how wanting a strap-on penis in a man's anus is not just a little bit homosexual? I also didn't mention that the women reported that a lot of those men also talked of homosexual acts. They feel free to do so because no one knows them.
Well, I'm not sure that alot of the population even uses Sex Phone Operators. Just saying.
If marriage IS the institution of the church, then they don't really need one at a church, they could legally get married somewhere else.. All they need is someone authoritized to bond the people together for life. Obviously, I doubt you meet those people all the time.
Also, Megamickel, I believe as wrong as I think homosexuality is, I still think they -- as people, deserve the same rights.
Honestly, I think that no matter your sexual orientation you desrve the same rights. I have this openly g-y and proud of it friend, but does anyone i know make fun of him, no. I myself am unsure of my sexual orientation but i know if i was g-y then none i know would care. and thats how it should be for the whole world. People are People no matter the creed or sexual orientation.
It's doesnt matter if u r homo or not but when i see one on the streets of France (thats where i live) it makes me feel really sorry. Look at all this hot girls i mean god! O and most of the people make fun of them thats a bit funny too
