So he has done research in the area he is discussing. So what? I have done research in the area of evolution, and it is highly unscientific, and for that matter illogical. And yet, others who have studied out that topic insist it is 'the most scientific thing out there'. So it is all a matter of opinion, really. In fact, I am starting to forget why we disagreeing in the first place...
lol, i agree with mega, just dont botherreading the forums if your here for gaming only. I think that homosexuality is a sin against nature, but having an adopted child that is related to you is better than having some random child. there is more of a connection.
So, like Strop replying to a post of mine waaaaaay back, I reply to Strop's from somewhatwaaaaaay back:
Yaaaay you don't discount biological curiosity! And of course, that discussion is not meant as the be-all-end-all, I entertain equally any ideas of there being certain predispositions that take their course. In fact, that perspective does, as you said, seem more pertinent what with the lack of biological foundation for much discussion. I just can't help wondering, I suppose...
I think Homosexualism is VERY WRONG! It is against the Cristian faith and God frowns apon those who are of this sickening nature. It is VERY un-awesome.
If you take God to the highest respect, then being un appreciated by God must really suck. Again, just saying.
Also, WTF? Lurk Moar. o.O
There isn't really must proof to genetics going homosexual, since you were born from straight parents. So, just to keep going, I don't think its natural. Also, just to point out, back long long ago when people learned of God, anything he didn't like was very punishable. Religion was very strict back then.
Anyway, I've stated my beliefs. I was really hoping for this one to die. xP
Exactly. Either that was just ignorance, or turning a blind eye towards the truth.
Even American Dad tackled the issue of homsexual couples having children. All it really takes is a surrogate mother/sperm donor these days and there you go! A child that is the actual offspring of a homosexual couple.
Or adoption works, too. Granted, more hetero couples do have children, but that is not due to the fact that we couldn't have them. It's still a bit taboo in some areas of the country. But it isn't at all where I live. Hell, in Austin if you aren't gay, have a purple mo-hawk, several piercings, or are just plain weird then you are the odd-man out.
And that's why I keep saying I won't move there >_< It's our own little slice of Cali, I tell you what. And I don't think that's a good thing. But like I said - on the issue of gay rights, why should we stand in the way of two people who love each other and want to get married? It's wrong to try and force them to stay in a non-married relationship. Even if you believe it to be a sin, you can't make laws against it based simply on that. That'd be unconstitutional, what with separation of church and state. You also can't force the church to acknowledge the marriage. But you should simply let people live as they will, and allow God to be the judge. It is not your place to judge people.
