I think gay marriage is okay because as long as they are happy and the know that people love them, they should be able to do eht they want. Just like how asherlee is gay. She is proud of it and isnt afraid to say that she is. Everybody else should be like that. People in modern society dont like it because they think that it is nastey. Modern day christians think it is bad because they think it is against Gods word. But if God gave us free will, shouldnt we be able to do what we want. Because that is what God wants us to do. Make good desicions and aceept everything that God has. And if we accept his Free Will then we can accept God.
Personally, despite the fact I'm not homosexual, I think it'd be fun to hit on heterosexual people of the same sex just to see how insecure they get.

well the army probably doesn't want gay people in the army because, think about it, surrounded by men , lots and lots of men, for quite awhile they would get tempted

I have a question about Homosexuality. Would homosexuality be considered a mental disorder? Because we weren't really designed to reproduce with the same sex... Or is it considered something else, I don't really know too much about this subject, but that crossed my mind when I saw this topic.
You know I get the feeling that it would probably start off some kind of new brand of terrorism: the homo-bombers, crusaders against the evils of heteronormativity! I can just imagine the proposal being rejected due to "ethical reasons".

Well, first, the standard point: nobody was 'designed' to do anything, we all rather happened to form characteristics that corresponded with certain functions. One important thing to remember is that 'sexuality' -/-> sex. That's actually a bit too strong.
Anyhow, the official answer is 'no'. The American Psychiatric Association voted, in the early 70s, that homosexuality should not be considered a mental disorder. However since people are slow to run with the times, medical manuals still mention the fact even today. However it is still possible for homosexuality to be some kind of disorder- that would be specifically when the patient perceives homosexuality to be a real problem for them such that it is distressing or interfering with their life. It's just that not many people would think this way nowadays.
