i just had a fairly random thought, if there is such a thing as homophobia, would there be such a thing as heterophobia?
Well, we live in a world that sadly influences homophobia. We grew up in a world that said heterosexuality is always right. I am not saying heterophobia isn't possible but it is unlikely.
You know I never knew that asherlee was lesbian. I am a christan. I am agaisnt homosexuality. But if you are a homosexual I dont really care. You can be homosexual if you want trying to be kind here everone should be able to pick their own lifestyle. So I might go to hell now and so will homosexuals. Doesnt mean that you can't be a homo! Do what you think is right. I wont be negative about any choice you make.

But seriously though, it is always best to keep all religous opinions to yourself unless the topic you are talking about is on religion.
You don't use the word "gay" in a joking context because you equate the word with hate, sin, and immorality. Extreme liberals don't joke with it because they are too politically correct and don't want anyone to ever be offended in any way. Both sides are morons and need to take a center road.
I think most of us are shocked at how some members treat homosexuals because we look out into the world. I find it interesting that our world looks at convicts a different way. We allow them to get out of jail, get married, have a family, and live a life without discrimination. That is someone who broke the law. Now, we have someone who has affections for someone of the same sex. They have not broke a law but 48 states say they can't get married, they can adopt but that child is made fun of, and it is impossible for them to live a life without discrimination.
If you are too lazy to read, we treat criminals nicer than homosexuals.
I think we treat homosexuality too poorly. These days, some people use the word "gay" as an insult. Homosexuality is like a life-style choice, you get to pick if you wanna be homosexual or not. People make fun of other people that are homosexual because they're not the same as most people.
Now, I myself isn't a homosexual but, I think people should not treat people differently if they're different from you.

Yes, it isn't natural to YOU because you are heterosexual. You need to learn that just because it is different, doesn't mean it is wrong or weird. I bet Ash thinks you're a big weirdo right now, just playing :P
People start to become attracted to the same sex just by choice. Maybe he/she just isn't attracted to the other sex for other reasons, and they figureout that he/she is attracted to their same sex. It isn't a mental illness, it is a lifestyle choice.

TR there are some states that won't give children to homosexual couples. Just thought I'd throw that in.
Wow, I did not know that. That adds even more onto my point. So, we will give a child possibly to people who broke the law but not someone who just has different sexual preferences.

Not all heterosexuals can reproduce. There are many heterosexuals who have to adopt as well so I don't get why you said that. Also, they are attracted to the same sex as heterosexuals are attracted to the opposite sex. You are ignorant for saying they are mentally ill. Also, there are many heterosexuals who have annoying voices. Once again, let's discriminate against homosexuals for things heterosexuals do as well.
I find the "annoying voice" part of volcanoboys post hilarious. It's as though gays do this purposefully in order to bother heteros. He might have well have said "Why do gays have limp wrists?"
As far as the unnatural nature of the entire thing, most gays I have spoken to realize that they are "different." They are not ignorant to the fact that reproduction is not possible and that they will face possible harrassment by bieng gay.
I really don't think that mental illness has anything to do with homosexuality. In fact, that is treading on fairly dangerous ground. There have been studies conducted as to why gays feel the way they do, with conflicting results. It most certainly cannot be considered a 'mental deficiancy'
