Any help guys? I decided to continue the main quest and went to Whiterun, and ended up finding a farm where there are some 'Companions' owning a giant. I thought 'Coolbeanz, yo' and decided to join them. I'm on the one where I have to go to Dustman's cave or something to find a blade piece? This 'Shield-brother' of mine? Yeah, he didn't show up, I've waited 3 in-game days so far and he ain't here, or outside.
I use the Iron Mace (which is now a level 17 damage) with the fire magic power. Kicks butt. I usually use my Shout to startle them, strong attack, and then use my fire on them. That should be enough time to bring back my shout, then repeat. It's good.
I have a few magical staffs, swords, and battle axes, but I'm currently using a dwarven sword that does fire damage a jarl gave me. Forgot the name of the place, but it was where you investigate Alva and stuff. But that's in one hand, in the other I either have fire or healing.
I just use my Ebony Axe (Legendary) which has soul trap, which I use to capture the souls of things like mammoths, giants, dragon priests, and stuff like that. I carry a Elven Sword (Legendary) with a fire damage enchantment so I can kill weaker things but don't have to carry much weight. I always use my Dragon Scale Shield (Legendary) with one of those two. :3
Is there any specific place(s) where I can gather up all this blood stuff for Septimus? Or do I have to keep traveling until I find those creatures, kill them, then harvest their blood?

Can u say the quests name because I don't know which quest you mean.

Kill several groups of bandits and you should be able to find most of it.
