To get a merit, you must post a lively comment the catches a moderator's eye. I understand that much, but do they check every game daily? How will we know when they check the comments?
Adamborg1, if you did that then the moderator you told is probably going to think that you only showed them that certain game so that they would find your comment. And if you did that, then they might just ignore your comment on the game because you directed them to it.
Ok, that's too bad. Then I'll just wait and hope that they see it. Not that I would ask if someone would do this, but if someone said that they saw an awesome review (or maybe it's better if several people talked about it). How or who would they contact in that case. If that isn't also considered as spam. Because it could be people that I asked to do this, and even if it was not the moderators/admins wouldn't know.
I interpreted that as if someone tells a moderator or administrator they saw an awesome review. Well, you're not supposed to do that either. There used to be a profile where you would do that and moderators would look at the comments to see if they were merit worthy or not. I think the profile is called Merit_Recognition, but it isn't of use anymore and you're not supposed to tell the moderators about reviews.
From the help page: Do not bug the moderators or admins to give you merits. They will most likely be sad for the rest of the day if you do.
