I have to say I am thoroughly impressed by your class and courtesy, like, legitimately!
I find that on almost all forums and threads nowadays people just find it as a spawning point for trolling and inciting anger or improper argumentation. Of course there are a few exceptions to y'alls fantastic community but other than that it's a really nice change. I'm new to these pages and after skimming for a few hours or so I have come to this realization about you all.
I typically peruse through Blizzard forums and they are throughly unpleasant and infuriating (I'm a Starcraft 2 player haha), and just seeing how you all act on here is such a shift from the arrogance and idiocy that runs thoroughly rampant over there =P
So whether it is by nicer people or by very hard working moderators, I have to say it is impressive.
So this is just a thank you, and a public announcement that your courtesy hasn't gone unnoticed, and I have found this to be a much nicer community to be a part of for a while
Feel free to post your positive experiences/opinions about your community as well!
-Also, as I've read through the Tavern, I've noticed you guys are having problems with spam threading and all that good jazz... I hope I don't fall under that category with this =P I felt like the tavern would be the most proper place to post a proclamation of praise, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Still impressed by our class and courtesy? Anyways, I agree, it's a nice forum. The reason why it isn't filled with spam is because they've got pretty strict rules. Every now and then it feels like the moderators are a bit too strict, but I guess that's how it has to be.
Hey man, wanna go lock at what happens when there are no rules at all? Go visit the freaking SC2 forums and see if you can read barely anything that'a related to the thread topic on there. It's difficult to even open a page without getting mad at the people on there haha.
Yeah, most of the people that frequent the forums are mature and make quality posts. That has to be the main reason as to why I like this community. Good discussions come up all the time. Positive experiences, hmm, I'd say that the discussions that I get into about AG3, game related things, and other things are good. I guess I wouldn't be here nobody in this community could hold a discussion.
By the way, welcome to Armor Games.(even though it's a month late.)
I agree with ghost, I became a member at first just to play a game, but I'm glad I did because the threads on here are actually on topic, and not incoherent trash made by trolling fools.
in a nut-shell, I came for the games, I stayed for the forums.
azndude, I hope you enjoy your experiences here, and remember, if you go onto the politics section, be careful you know what you are doing. if you start a debate. chances are that you will get beaten. that happened to me, and it's embarassing.
Yes, here you can discuss everything from Quantum Mechanics to morbid diseases(warning, very graphic) to pictures of yourself. The community here is amazing and the Moderators and Administrators even more so. You will like it here.

You're fine. It's been a while since I've seen one of these threads by newcomers. The Tavern has been especially assaulted by spam for the past several months. It isn't comforting, but nothing has been destroyed.. yet.
lol. this place is almost like a literall community. you will have disagreements, but this place will give you a positive experience. sorry if I sound corny btw.
yes there is trouble with spam, but nothing to really worry about, unless you just really hate spam.
