Seriiously!!! What is wrong with it. I have a little sister who plays cod bo, and fable 2 with me sometimes. Please leave a comment about what you think about girls playing games. Pls be specific as to why it is good or bad. Or if it does nothing at all to the gaming community.
You didn't read my post correctly. What you said has nothing to do with it because I didn't say "all" in my post. Of course there are people who don't rage or cry about everything, but there are people who do. As in most games and it isn't just for one gender. Both genders are involved, however, that doesn't mean that one shouldn't be able to play a certain game just because a few people from that gender do something wrong. It's stereotyping and is wrong.

Lol, maybe i'm mean, but...it doesn't phase me at all to know the gender of whoever i'm fighting. In Cod..."random person:Hey all i'm a gurl!" *Snipe to the face* "me: Good for you!"
Although one thing I really find annoying...i'm not 100% sure on this as there's really no way to check, but a lot of girls seem to always feel the need to tell everyone they are a girl after they beat them, and then constantly try and kill the same person over and over.
Well video games is a huge topic. My sister play Mario cart nothing wrong wit that. It's just when girls take an interest in real hard core gaming when we have a problem. Has anyone ever got on mw2 and heard a bunch of girls? One they think it's gross, two when they die the cry ( depending on age), three the game is really not made for them thats why they dont play. But there r games that they like and we don't..... Not as many but still
And to prove my point about mw2 and why they don't play Girl: I was playing black ops and I like threw a bomb and blew me up omg! After saying something like that, how many annoying boys u think got pissed at her?
I don't think that it's good or bad. But a girl playing video games always makes me raise an eyebrow. Because it's not that usual. I think it's kinda cool actually. Maybe if enough girls play video games no one will ask these questions.
I've met several female gamers on WoW. They're not as rare as you might think, you probably meet a bunch of them every day, you just don't know it. Very rarely do they enter a group and immediately shout "HEY I'M A GIRL!!!1", and you usually can't tell if someone is a girl or not unless you ask.
Anyways, female gamers aren't all that rare any more, even if there are way more male gamers around, and the fact that I usually can't tell if it's a man or woman I play with only proves that there's nothing wrong with female gamers. That being said, I'd like to add that most people who ask the question the OP is asking are, in fact, girls.

Gaming is all about skill and boys don't have some super skill that makes them instantly good at games - regardless of gender, it's skill that makes a good gamer. & as a female obviously i have to say nothings wrong with it ;o
I never heard one person say that it's wrong for girls to play video games. So I don't where you heard that. Your question is as irrelevant as asking: what's wrong with people playing sports?
I'm a girl who plays video games. I play Assassin's Creed, Doom 3, Diablo, Quake, Aion, and Turok to name a few. And if I had CoD you better bet your behind I'd play that too. What I don't understand is the girls that DON'T play video games because they think it's for the boys!
I know what some of you mean about the girls who yell 'omg' and act all prissy and whatnot, and I think those are the girls who only play to seem cool or to attract the boys.

I rage, compete, threaten to pwn, tease the n00bs and sometimes swear just as much as the boys do, to the point that my group members get into the habit of calling me 'bro' or 'man' because they assume I'm a guy. Of course, in the MMO world, most players go by the rule 'on the internet, guys are guys, girls are guys, and kids are the FBI.' Sometimes this is true, but what they forgot to put in was that sometimes, guys are girls.

Amen to that. I have a lot of virtual female friends who play online games with, and trust me, they really kick ***.
