I saw on the news that the supposed father of Caylee who died in the wreck had a mother that is still alive. This mother is going to take a dna test to find out if she is related to Caylee. If she is, then she will be taking Casey to Civil court...kinda like how OJ was done back in the day. I wonder how this will turn out. I don't have a source for that at the moment. I just remember it being said. What do you think of this recent occurrence?

I seriously thought that when they said that she was guilty, that it was a joke or fake rumor. From the evidence I've heard, Casey Anthony is 100% guilty. I'm not sure if this evidence is true, but this is just what I heard. She didn't tell the police for one month that her daughter was missing, lied to the police, went out partying and getting tattoos, searches on Casey's computer for "neck breaking" and how to make chloroform, the cadaver dogs"s searches, and the heart shaped sticker deal. I know I look like I'm ranting, but this whole case really makes me made. The US justice system has failed us once again.

I mean, yes, from those things it shows she is not the worlds greatest mother. But just because she has all those strikes against her doesn't mean she actually killed her girl.

Indeed. If there was ever a forensic analysis of my google search, I would be in a whole lot of trouble simply for curiosity. Not reporting the missing child is neglect, not murder. And she was found guilty of lying to police.

That only proves that she is a terrible mother, not a murderer.

I think anyone would be in trouble if it happened to them.
lied to the police

So did most of her family. Lots of people do, even by accident. My aunt, who had been living with a man for a decade but they weren't married, returned home after vacation to find that he had died. The police took her in for questioning and it was brutal. She tried to comply by giving what they asked for, like phone numbers and things, but was so broken up that she didn't remember what she was saying and was likely just giving random numbers. The autopsy revealed he died of a heart attack.
searches on Casey's computer for "neck breaking" and how to make chloroform

There were no chemicals on the property. They couldn't even find trace amounts. Usually in 1st degree murder cases, they would have found a soaked rag with DNA all over it.

I'm not sure about that one, but that lady Casey claimed was babysitting Caylee is going to sue for defamation because her reputation was damaged.

I have to agree. If the feds looked up what I've been searching, I believe they'd be quite suspicious of my curiosity in uranium and nuclear energy.

And I don't think it is fair to her that now all the people who have a biased opinion and think she did murder her kid now completely hate her. She has dozens of Facebook pages against her, just to start.

I recognize that she isn't the worlds best Mom, but you don't see people making hate pages about serial killers or rapists.

According to Wiki when the Not Guilty verdict was announced: ...reported that posts on Facebook were coming in "too fast for all Facebook to even count them, meaning at least 10 per second".

I don't know why they made this case so huge like it's the crime of the century. There are plenty of worse criminals to pick on.

Oh and she's supposed to be released on Sunday.

Lots of people know so much about this story you'd think they were in the courtroom and heard everything. Nancy Grace and her branding iron do not a conviction make. Personally, I don't know whether or not the mom is guilty, but I'm sure not going to let someone else, especially the sensastionalized media, make up my mind for me.

....I like you guys.

And I do feel bad for her to a degree. Whether or not she did kill the kid, she's no never going to be able to go anywhere without people yelling at her, cussing her out, verbal, possibly physical abuse, people can be hesitant to hire her....so many things.

I'll bet some obsessed nut will shoot (or shoot at) her when she's released.

The persecution was what did it. I wasn't really into the trial, but the stupidity of the persecuting team is what got me into it. Arrogance was what did it, Casey Anthony could be serving life or a couple of decades for the murder if it weren't for the idiocy.
They couldn't even get her on abuse, and they expected to get her on murder? That's what did it. I wish Suits was on that case, she would have been killed twenty times over.

PROsecution lol.

persecution means just indiscriminant bad things for no reason to someone because you don't like them (sorry for the akward phrasing-I'm in a hurry)
