Is the sentence a good or bad policy? Some states allow it, and some countries aloow it, yet others dont. Yes, I know some of might say everyone deserves to live, and most of the time i would agree with you, but what if there is a man that has been tested positive for some sort of disorder that causes him to have a strong urge to kill at random times, and he was either about to be set free in your town or put to death. What would you say? There is the unethical and the inhumane reason, but a large reason many places ban it is the cost. Some states are backed up with people on death row, because they have to pay lawyers to file paperwork, and keep those hundreds, maybe thousands, of people alive for howver long. Think, do you really want your tax dollars going there?

I'm not blaming the law. I'm not blaming anyone, in fact

Oops sorry, it was directed towards those who state that since the law can't decide 100% whether the prosecuted is guilty or not the death penalty should be scraped, not you.

Yes, well, that's not a bad argument, but it's not a particularly good one either. Because while one could certainly argue further, based on the same principle, that if the law cannot be 100% sure of the guilt of the party, the party should be released completely and not face even jail time, it just wouldn't be a very good argument. Mostly because it falls apart when faced with the question of what then, would be a better judicial system?

Either way, I think it's important that I mention that I do not oppose death sentence on the grounds of there being reports of innocent people executed. If I did, I'd have to oppose the entire system, as there most definitely are innocent people in prison right now. It's a statement dealing with law in general, not the specific instance we're talking about here.

Hi there, Speaking of death prediction, I find it really odd that one of the on-line death prediction services showed me the same death date that I was foretold in my dream about a year ago. http://yourdeathdate.info/1/index.html - I canât explain this coincidence in any other way except that there must be some kind of magic involved here.
