Bringing soldiers back

He said get them out of Iran and Iraq, other than the security forces for peacekeeping, but mostly they're out. Some came home, but a lot were moved to Afghanistan and Pakistan. As soon as their governments basicly stop being lazy and take control of the situation, the troops will leave.

It's not as easy as you think it is to keep your promises. I mean, even if he wanted too, the senate (I think) has to agree. And even if they do agree, it still takes time. He can't just wake up one morning and boom! Universal healthcare.

Just remember, to get popular enough to get into that position, you gotta sell Americans a lot of ****.

Bringing soldiers back

Obama has kept these promises but presidents are not kings like loloyanage2 said:

Things take time, and already he has started to remove troops from the front line. But it will be a long process the soldiers cannot just leave we have set out with a goal and we cannot leave the other nations without helping them get back on their feet. When we leave we want the people to be able to take the matter into their own hands.

With anything anyone does in a democracy, it takes time. Especially in this bi- partisan warzone we call a democracy. The reason everything takes forever is because of the bi- partisanship. Just like with the healthcare... in the upcoming election, If Republicans get more seats in the senate, I'm almost certain that the first thing they'll do is repeal that bill and pretty much everything else Obama has done. I think he really is trying to keep his promises, but the warzone of a congress won't let him

True that, i don't see anything good that's coming out from him. He just talks and doesn't go with it. I don't see him much of a leader.

It's not really his fault though. It's Congress that is destroying everything that he's trying to do.

He needs to be more aggressive, right now Obama is very passive. Not doing much, and having bogus meetings.

I agree with both of you on the issue, but if he wants any chance of being re-elected, he needs to take action

No doubt, if there is no change then he has no chance.
