If I was president, everything would have to go through congress, and everyone knows how THEY are.... But if i could do anything, I'd send troops to loot several middle-eastern countries. And other hienous crimes.
I dunno, but we've got alot of nukes and soldiers to get rid of.... Maybe END the world in a ball of blazing glory, with me and my presidential girlfriend in orbit watching. (and people ASK why the congress is there, and being total donkeys?)
I would seriously cut most of the military budget, actually, i would pretty much eliminated it. Then I would make a lot of drugs legal so we can tax them and get more money. I would also try to make the country less wasteful so we can use our resources more wisely. I think that would me my first steps, if the congress agrees of course.
Why not throw a violent military coup, dissolve Congress, and then appoint your followers to positions of power? That by-steps the legislative process completely!

How does this help the economy? [/quote] Well, the troops steal from the MECs and bring back the riches/gold/silver to the US. We then give those items of value to China to pay off our debt.

Inwas thinking about that, but most of the time, military coups just makes the problem worst. But hey! It's a gamble I'm willing to take.
