and guys a question about religion of christaniti werent germans in 1939 till 1945 christans ?? so why on earth hitle__-r sed that poor jews are bad ppl and we must kill them that all ppl of germani accept it !!! didnt they have book of god ??? and by the way hitle__-r sed we should do it so god wants it and this stuff some one pleas explain it ? i know this is a historical question mixed with politics but pleas anserw and if you think this is just a stupid question say it to me and i will ask a mode to delete it thanks

I don't think he was tied to god in such a way that that would help him. He was not the saneist of people and needed to get the german's economy back up, by blaming the jews, it helped set everyone's mind on the same problem and not fight amongst each other (kindof like watchmen).
Btw: why do you write Hitle_r?

Atheism isn't a belief but a lack thereof...

I had thought this thread to be about religion not a petty argument about someoneâs typing skills or lack thereof... anyway, I would have to say that I am quite simply an opportunist. And before any one says that that is not a religion then I would implore you to look at what a religion must have to be titled such. A religion must have a set faith or belief system. It must also have a deity or god, and it must have either verbal, written or physical traditions or rituals. My beliefs are in my own abilityâs and self-ambitions. The object of my worship or loyalty towards is self-preservation and self-elevation. The traditions or rituals in which I practice are simple daily routines that allow for my survival and beneficial gang, such as choosing to get out of bed and go to work or devote countless hours to self-education for future use. I know that most will see this thought proses as selfish and most likely egotistical but in all honesty what actions does anyone take that is not for their own benefit in either survival or self-indulgent. I am just glad I can admit my true goal in life, the same goal anyone has if they explore their inner self long enough.

I live in Ä°stanbul.I need to be a musluman but nop.
I'm an atheist...
I think religion is just about fear of death.
Every religion looks stupid for me I think its just a way to make people calm cause they think that if they'll respect the rules they'll go to heaven or something..
I don't blieve it.

Those are concepts. But if you worship divine beings as embodiments of these concepts, then maybe we can call that worship.

Oh, and you forgot something: most religions have creation myths, or explain world and life. Does your 'religion' do that?

Opportunism is a way of life, it can have similarities to a religion, but many things have if you argue that way. And being opportunism doesn't exclude religion.

That was the only point i was trying to make. people keep talking about how this persons beliefs are not a real religion but the idea of religion was made from the minds of men therefore is flawed, therefore, religion can be a broad of a concept as one can argue!

I'm pagan I belive in Zeus

Well, pagan religions are usually polytheistic, and since you believe in a Greek god, I assume you believe in all the other Greek gods.

You're a little late for that. What makes you think those gods still exist btw?(or if you only believe in Zeus, then god)

Uh.... if he believes they are gods, why would they stop existing? Just because the religious beliefs of ancient Greece aren't very popular anymore, doesn't mean it they were wrong. It's always a possibility they were right.

I'm saying late in that that religion used to be in full height with grand statues and buildings dedicated to the gods, now they are considered myths and laughed at. I used to think tha all gods were real since everyone believes so firmly in their own, now I just conclude none of them are right because of that.

I would have to say Atheist. I believe in Science and Technology, and I don't think any supernatural beings exist. I do meditate, but that has nothing to do with religion. That is just relaxation, and if relaxation is part of religion, then everybody is religious.
