Me - draconic christian I'd call it..though the first part would fit to just about any faith that's not about screwing people up and the latter is sometimes hurt by it Many words to describe and I don't think there are any others like that..or they don't know it/call it

Best way to find out what Christs teachings are is to read the text your getting the teachings from. If there is something that isn't understood that's when asking questions comes into play and don't just stop at your first answer, as other denominations and do some research for yourself.
Believing just to agree with what others think in ways is worse than believing because of funny feelings and vague subjective experiences.

Christian teachings are derived from the bible, if you want to know what the clerics are teaching you, you should read the bible. Or else you only learn about a part of your religion, which is not adivsable.
I've seen a lot of people throughout classify themselves as Christian. Now i know a lot of people don't want to give their denomination of Christianity away, and i respect that.
However, i've seen a few people post as if Christian is something different than Catholicism. Which is incorrect, they made be protestant, which is still under the umbrella of Christian, but Christian is the overall title including all denominations.
It's not that I wanna bash organized religion. It's just that not only have I not been given any valid scientific proof of any deities, gods, whatever you wanna call them, but it's also because of what it drives people to. Crusades between Christians and Muslims are prime examples.
