So, the story behind my Satanism? Eh, might as well, considering the other guy already gave us his story about Atheism to Christianity, might as well catalog the Protestant to Satanism transition of the ChillzMaster.
It was a cold night in the summer of 2010 and I was just surfing the web when I looked on wikipedia about the anniversary of the Church of Satan. Eyebrow raised, I investigated the Church. What I came across were many of the beliefs that I personally believed that the Church also based its laws about. Many days later, I read about such things as the Harrowing of Hell, and Paradise Lost.
I found Satan to be an interesting character, a fallen hero who wanted all to be happy. I smiled and pledged my allegiance to Him. Since then, my friends have accepted my belief, and my recent discovery of genius knowledge has them wondering if Satanacy is the right path.
not typically. from what i knew i knew it to be a sort of atheistic religion that didnt believe in the devil or god or any afterlife. i guess there are some forms that do worship the devil. i just find that weird though. what does satan have to offer you in return for worshiping him? it doesnt make much sense.
from how chillz explained it that lucifer was the good guy. God punished humanity because adam and eve ate from the tree. satan tried reasoning with god using the * their only childern thing * but instead said "their only humans" meaning we are not perfect and we're going to f*ck up every now and then. god didn't like this and banished lucifer to the plains of hell. lucifer and his army of angels tried to over take god, god had made lucifer's older brother micheal the commander of the rest of the angels. lucifer was out numbered and sentence to hell for eternity. as chillz further said that if you are just out to help people, not necessarily worship lucifer when god ****s you to hell, you will be cared for by satan. but if your a god lover or believe in the painful hell he will let you live that hell. and by no means am I a satan worshiper, I am atheist so to me it's a load of crap.
goth is a genre of music that developed in the 80's. bands like the cure sort of made it into a real culture. but being gothic has nothing to do with religion.
The Goths were a group WAY before this modern genre, and they did impact religion and in some cases get involved in religion. So that's wrong right there.
I didn't know much about Lucifer, so i read a book called the secret history of Lucifer which opened up a lot to me. I think peoples perception of "Satan" is totally wrong, he/it was simply misunderstood.
