There has to be life outside of our universe. There is an incredible number of planets and stars and galaxies beyond our own;a number far beyond human comprehension. Our evolution is imperfect and flawed, yet we have still become the most powerful and intelligent species within millions and millions of miles. Conditions like ours that can support life could very easily arise somewhere else in the universe. THere has been such a wide window of time, and so much space for it to happen, that it is inevitable that there is life somewhere else in the universe. If we can exist, why should we be the only ones?
There are many planets , with supstences of H2o *Water* on them . Where there is water there can be life. Since the earliest hominid species diverged from the ancestor we share with modern African apes, 5 to 8 million years ago, there have been at least a dozen different species of these humanlike creatures. Many of these hominid species are close relatives, but not human ancestors. But it only takes one to evolve creating a sucsessful species, just takes two animals with good offspring to create a more human like spcies. Most scientist say that Earth started out as a *star* that was mostly mad out of valcanos, and that many meteors hit earth making its huge trenches within our ocean. But after all of the meteors hit earth , it started to rain , for Billions of years, Then formed an Ice age ... Which soon after melted making land and our oceans . And within our oceans life began... But of course *humans were first evolved by creatures that lived in water . All there has to be within that water is bacteria, which could form into something over time. Then create a Ape like animal , *Which is a close ancestor to hominids*.
Well the point of planet earths history is , it could have happend some where else , within our Solar System or not. Maybe billions of light years away.
If you have any thing you would like to say just post on this fourm . Im going to keep this on my page. Hope it gets somewhere.
I'm sure, that life is existing outside our solar system. Intelligent life is another question. Cause it needs enough time to evolve and doesn't last that long. And many factors have to be given, to reach Intelligence.

I would like to find some intelligent life in our solar system....
Joking aside, even this is quite likely given the number we have to work with.
I'm assuming you mean life forms with some sort of consciousness. (A focus point; that is; it reacts to some sort of stimuli consciously or sub-consciously) Anyway, we could trace this back to quantum physics:

Let's assume that consciousness is made up of matter (atoms, etc). Our HUMAN consciousness is probably only unique to the life forms within our planet, due to the matter found on the planet. The probability that the conciousness common to our planet as compared to that of another planet would probably vary depending on this. Since it is quite possible that there IS another atmosphere that is like Earth's, we could also say that there is a possibility that there is a consciousness like the human consciousness. Anyway, it's quite likely that different consciousnesses could occur, due to the annoying complexity of quantum physics. Before writing the above paragraph/s, I was dared to drink a whole bottle of chilli sauce in front of my cohort. Please excuse my non-use of the English language.

I've heard this before and find it interesting. There are some qualities of how our minds work that could suggest the use of quantum physics, how ever far as I know this has yet been shown to be the case and there is issue with size in that the elements of the brain involved may be too large collapsing a quantum state.
There are way more planets we haven't discovered yet, so there is a great chance there is life! I know it sounds ridiculous, but there could be a world, just like ours, with life like ours, that we haven't discovered yet!
im not sure if their planets outside our Solar system
Wikipedia says there are 702 confirmed planets and an estimated 50 billion just in our galaxy.
I'd say with that many planets there is a good chance of life living on at least some of them.
You cant always trust Wikipedia any could have wrote that! but i do agree with your statement that that there is possible life on any planet in our galaxy
well, i heard it could only a reflection of the planet earth. but maybe there is such a planet, far, far away in a different universe or galaxy, maybe in a different dimension, too! but seriously, i think such a planet where other beings can live exists.
what about the planet called kepler 22-b it was confirmed by nasa 4 days ago that it is Habitable. als have they (not officialy / not on their site) said that it's temp. is around the 20 degree. (wich sounds a bit to perfect.)
but then again it's 600 lightyears away and will take more then a million year to get there. (if we start the flight tomorrow)
the planet is a great candidate for some alien life form. as it's almost simular to earth (despite we don't even know much about it yet)
